Inline Product Metering System For Fertilizer And Seed Application System
The present invention is directed to an applicator having an agricultural product conveying system which transfers particulate material from one or more source containers to application equipment on demand, and meters the material at the application equipment. The conveying system includes an inline metering system including a number of metering devices associated with each compartment of a particulate material tank on the applicator to meter the particulate material disposed within each compartment. The individual metering devices include gates to initially enable the particulate material from a compartment to enter the metering device, and a rotary metering shaft to meter the flow of the particulate material into the conduits while limiting the passage of pressurized air through the metering device and into the compartment. The individual metering devices also include individual motors to control the operation of the metering devices independently from one another that can allow with sectional control and turning compensation.

A terminal block for an electronic device, which block can be attached to an electronics housing of the electronic device, includes at least one base strip comprising a plurality of connector sockets; and a plurality of connector modules that can be attached to the connector sockets of the at least one base strip in at least one insertion direction, are held on the connector sockets in an inserted position, and can be released from the connector sockets to be removed from the at least one base strip; and a locking device. The locking device includes: an actuating part that can be moved relative to the at least one base strip in an actuation direction; and a plurality of locking elements that are engaged in a locking manner in mating elements of the connector modules in a locked position.
Ejector hood
An ejection hood apparatus includes a transfer conduit and a hood. The transfer conduit includes a downwardly concave control shell. An inlet end portion of the transfer conduit receives an upwardly directed transfer air stream including ejected material with at least a partially upward trajectory. The hood defines an ejection chamber including a lower chamber portion and an upper chamber portion. The lower chamber portion receives the transfer air stream from an outlet end portion of the transfer conduit with at least a partially downward trajectory. The hood includes at least one air outlet passage communicated with the upper chamber portion for exhausting at least a portion of the transfer air stream.

Pumping apparatus comprises a granular material pump assembly and a distributor having a distribution end for distributing granular material. The granular material pump assembly is configured to pump granular material through the distributor towards the distribution end. The distributor is configured to permit granular material to exit the distributor at the distribution end when an amount of granular material pumped towards the distribution end exceeds a threshold, for example wherein the distributor comprises a valve assembly configured to permit granular material to exit the distributor at the distribution end when the amount of granular material pumped towards the distribution end exceeds the threshold, optionally wherein the valve assembly comprises a valve configured to open to permit granular material to exit the distributor at the distribution end when the amount of granular material pumped towards the distribution end exceeds the threshold.

DOWNWARD ELBOW WITH CYCLONIC EFFECT AND PRODUCT OVERFLOW CAPABILITY
An air system for supplying product to the product tank of an agricultural implement has an air supply and at least one elongated conduit for delivering air entrained product to the tank. There is at least one outlet in the tank formed as a hollow elbow having a generally downwardly directed outlet, a generally upwardly directed outlet and a transverse inlet coupled to the conduit. The elbow includes an upper generally cylindrical region comprising a cyclone chamber for swirling the incoming air entrained product directing at least a portion of the air flow upwardly toward the upwardly directed outlet while allowing the product to fall in a generally helical pattern through a generally frusto-conical region, whereby material migrates downwardly and air upwardly releasing the material to fall in a gentle spiral and air to exit from the upper region of the tank.
