Dual-bearing reel
An electric reel includes a reel unit, a spool, a level wind mechanism and a plate member. The reel unit includes a fishing rod attachment leg and a frame. The frame includes a first side plate disposed on the same side as a handle and a second side plate disposed opposite the first side plate so as to enable the spool to be disposed between the first side plate and the second side plate. The spool is rotatable with respect to the reel unit. The level wind mechanism includes a fishing line guide that is disposed forward of the spool and is reciprocatable along a spool shaft as a rotation shaft of the spool. The plate member is a plate-shaped member disposed between the spool and the fishing line guide along the axial direction of the spool shaft, and is attached to the reel unit from a side lateral to the frame.
METHOD OF CONTROLLING ROTATION SPEED OF DRIVE MOTOR OF ELECTRIC FISHING REEL
A method of controlling a drive motor rotation speed including a drive motor which rotationally drives a spool and control unit controlling the drive motor rotation speed and that can set the drive motor rotation speed by main and controller side operation members in a controller separate from an electric fishing reel. The control unit executes, when the drive motor is rotationally driven at operation positions of the main body side and controller side operation members, catch-up control processing of controlling the rotation speed of the drive motor in such a way that, if a user operates the other one of the main body side operation member and the controller side operation member to a speed position at which a rotation speed thereof catches up with the rotation speed of the drive motor, the rotation speed of the drive motor is thereafter controlled by the operation of this operation member.

Fishing Line Winder
A fishing line winder is disclosed. The line winder is combined with a line reel, so that a fishing line is sequentially reeled and unreeled. The line winder is a machine for preventing reverse winding and tangling, where a base of the fishing line winder is provided with a shaft, and a driving member drives the shaft to rotate, while a spindle is provided with a line spool, an abutment wheel and an unidirectional bearing; a resistance against the rotation of the abutment wheel is formed by means of a brake pad, thus preventing reverse winding and tangling when the fishing line is reeled onto and unreeled from the line reel.

System and method for remote operation of electric fishing reels
A method and system for remote operation of at least one electric fishing reel by radio communication with a communication terminal having a radio communication module. The at least one electric fishing reel includes a radio communication module compatible with the command terminal radio communication module. The communication terminal carries an application that transmits a command through a user interface to control the at least one electric fishing reel. The at least one electric fishing reel transmits to the communication terminal a connection request signal. together with a device ID, at startup of the program. The communication terminal transmits to the electric fishing reel having the device ID a connection permit signal upon receiving the connection request signal such that a communication protocol connection is established between the communication terminal and the electric fishing reel.
