An automatic fishing system includes a plurality of fishing machines each of which has rotation drums capable of winding fishing lines and capable of rotating in a reeling direction and an unreeling direction, a drive motor for driving the rotation drums in the reeling direction and the unreeling direction, and an electromagnetic clutch for transmitting rotation of the drive motor to the rotation drums, a hooking detection means for always detecting hooking of fish at any one of the plurality of fishing machines, and a fishing machine control means for controlling operations of the plurality of fishing machines in accordance with detection result of the hooking detection means. The fishing machine control means controls the rotation drums of other fishing machines that hook no fish in the reeling direction so that hooks of the other fishing machines are wound up to a water surface or near the water surface.

A fishing reel apparatus including a frame, an upper spool on the frame for winding up and paying out a line, a bead on the line, a series of hooks at intervals on the line down-line of the bead, a lower spool on the frame for winding up and paying out a sheet, an opening in the sheet for receiving the line where the opening is sized to allow the line to pass through without allowing the bead to pass through, a guide roller on the frame between the upper and lower spools for guiding the sheet when the sheet is payed out to, and a drive motor operably connected to the upper spool for rotating the upper spool.

A fishing reel apparatus including a frame, an upper spool on the frame for winding up and paying out a line, a bead on the line, a series of hooks at intervals on the line down-line of the bead, a lower spool on the frame for winding up and paying out a sheet, an opening in the sheet for receiving the line where the opening is sized to allow the line to pass through without allowing the bead to pass through, a guide roller on the frame between the upper and lower spools for guiding the sheet when the sheet is payed out to, and a drive motor operably connected to the upper spool for rotating the upper spool.

An exemplary line retrieval apparatus is disclosed. The apparatus may comprise: a motor comprising an output shaft; a hand crank; a spool; and a driveshaft. The apparatus may further comprise a selector operable to shift the apparatus between, at least: a manual mode, in which the driveshaft is engaged with the spool and the hand crank such that rotation of the hand crank causes rotation of the spool; and a motor mode, in which the driveshaft is engaged with the spool and the output shaft of the motor such that rotation of the output shaft causes rotation of the spool. An apparatus may include a pressure vessel configured to contain a compressed gas; a barrel having an open end; a valve configured to release the compressed gas from the pressure vessel into the barrel to launch a projectile from the open end of the barrel; and a shoulder support configured to allow a user of the apparatus to actuate the valve while the apparatus is mounted on a shoulder of the user.

An apparatus may include a pressure vessel configured to contain a compressed gas; a barrel having an open end; a valve configured to release the compressed gas from the pressure vessel into the barrel to launch a projectile from the open end of the barrel; and a shoulder support configured to allow a user of the apparatus to actuate the valve while the apparatus is mounted on a shoulder of the user.

A motor driven fishing reel is provided. The motor driven fishing reel can include a detachable battery pack configured to supply power to a motorized drive assembly within the motor driven fishing reel. The battery pack can include a power output adaptor that can be engaged with a power input adaptor on the motor driven fishing reel. Alternatively, the power input adaptor can accept power from an external source. The battery pack can include one or more protrusions to engage with one or more receiving channels on the motor driven fishing reel such that the battery pack can easily be attached and detached from the motor driven fishing reel.

A motor driven fishing reel is provided. The motor driven fishing reel can include a detachable battery pack configured to supply power to a motorized drive assembly within the motor driven fishing reel. The battery pack can include a power output adaptor that can be engaged with a power input adaptor on the motor driven fishing reel. Alternatively, the power input adaptor can accept power from an external source. The battery pack can include one or more protrusions to engage with one or more receiving channels on the motor driven fishing reel such that the battery pack can easily be attached and detached from the motor driven fishing reel.

An electric fishing reel comprises a reel main body that comprises a left frame and a right frame and side plates covering the left and right frames, an operating part that is provided on a side of the left frame or a side of the right frame and is rotatable, a handle shaft of the operating part, a drive gear that comprises a cylindrical portion and a tooth surface and is rotatably frictionally coupled to the handle shaft, and a drag washer that is non-rotatably fitted to the handle shaft and is provided at an end of the drive gear on a side in a direction of the handle shaft, in which a protruding portion protruding in a direction of the drive gear from an inside of the side plate covering the left frame or the right frame is provided, and an end of the protruding portion is formed to be separated by a distance equal to or less than 3.0 mm with respect to an upper surface of the drive gear as viewed in the direction of the handle shaft.
