Method and installation for the deposition of profiled rods
The invention relates to a method for an oriented deposition of hexagonal profiled rods (2) with their longitudinal edges (5) pointing downward in the direction of a stacking table (9) in a stacking installation (1). In doing so, an initial number of n-profiled rods (2) is provided on a feed table (8) and a stacking shaft (11) is built with the corresponding width (14). Then, several first transfer arms (17) are adjusted as protruding over the stacking shaft (11) on the side facing away from the feed table (8) and the profiled rods (2) are placed by means of a transfer device (10) on the support surfaces (18) arranged on the transfer arms (17) as well as are held by the transfer device (10) lying adjacent to one another. The transfer arms (17) are re-adjusted and, in doing so, the first profiled rod (2) is placed in the guide areas (21) aligned sloping on the transfer arms (17) as well as swiveled along its longitudinal axis. In case of further adjustment of the transfer arms (17), the first profiled rod (2) is lowered on the stacking shaft bottom (15) guided at the first stacking shaft walls (12) as well as the guide areas (21). The further profiled rods (2) are similarly swiveled and are lowed on the stacking shaft bottom (15) always adjacent to one another. The invention also related to an installation for an oriented deposition of profiled rods (2).

The transfer end is disposed at a first elevation and moveable in a machine direction and in a reverse machine direction. The telescopic infeed advances one or more products in the machine direction; and a landing surface receives the one or more products. The landing surface is disposed in a landing region proximate to the transfer end and at a second elevation. The first elevation is higher than the second elevation. A deflector is operatively engageable with the transfer end, such that the deflector is capable of deflecting a leading end of at least one of the one of more products.
Storage device for stackable containers
A storage device for stackable containers for conveying items, in particular items of luggage in a sorting conveyor system in an airport, includes a lifting conveyor with a container receiving device which can be guided between upper and lower conveying planes for storing at least one container. A conveyor is disposed in the upper conveyor plane for guiding storage containers to a transfer position and a discharge conveyor is disposed in the upper conveyor plane for discharging stored containers from a transfer position. A moving device moves a container from the transfer position to the empty container receiving device or to a container placed on the uppermost part of the container receiving device and moves the most upper container placed on the container receiving device to the transfer position. As a result, empty containers can be received, housed and guided back in a simple and cost effective manner.
Palletizer
A palletizer for stacking cargo, such as bags or boxes, onto a pallet in multiple layers is disclosed. The palletizer includes a main frame extending in vertical direction; pallet lifting means for lifting a pallet, which pallet lifting means are arranged to the main frame and are movable in vertical direction between the base of the main frame and the top of the main frame; a manipulator arranged to the top of the main frame for positioning the cargo and forming a layer on top of a pallet lifted by the pallet lifting means; and a supply main conveyor, such as a belt conveyor, arranged with one end to the top of the main frame for supplying cargo to the manipulator. The manipulator includes a sub-frame movable in a horizontal plane relative to the top of the main frame; a first floor arranged in the sub-frame and a second floor arranged in the sub-frame and above the first floor, wherein each floor has an opening, which can be closed by a door, such as a trap door, and wherein the openings in the floors are aligned when viewed in a vertical direction; and a supply sub conveyor arranged with one end adjacent to the one end of the supply main conveyor and arranged with the other end to the sub-frame and adjacent to the opening in second floor, such that cargo is conveyed on top of the door closing the opening in the second floor. The first floor is rotatable relative to the sub-frame and around a vertical axis.

The further profiled rods (2) are similarly swiveled and are lowed on the stacking shaft bottom (15) always adjacent to one another. The invention also related to an installation for an oriented deposition of profiled rods (2).
Hoist safety lock mechanism
A hoist safety lock mechanism includes a pair of pawls formed on terminal ends of each corner of a pallet support structure. The pawls are biased outward to an extended position and include a lower support surface adapted to rest on a support surface. The pawls may be pivotally deflected downward (but not upward) due to impact on a top surface of the pawl. Each pawl is configured to be received within a respective parallel column of slots formed on inwardly-facing sides of the vertical posts forming the lifting frame of the hoist. The slots within each column are vertically offset and separated by separators which can vertically deflect the pawls. Because the slots are vertically offset, and because each terminal end includes a pair of pawls, there is always at least one pawl engaged within the slot even if the other of the pair is deflected by contact with a separator. Thus, any failure of the hoist will cause the pallet support structure to only fall to the next lower separator before the pawl catches it.
APPARATUS FOR REORIENTING AND/OR STACKING PRODUCTS
An apparatus for reorienting and/or stacking products includes a frame and a telescopic infeed associated with the frame. The telescopic infeed has a receiving end and a transfer end.
