Stacker module for a converting machine
The present invention relates to a stacker module for a folder-gluer machine, the stacker module being located downstream of a transfer module in a direction of transportation of the folder-gluer machine and configured to receive folding boxes from a conveyor in the transfer module. The stacker module comprises a loading surface configured to receive a plurality of folding boxes in order to form a stack and to descend vertically as the number of folding boxes on the loading surface increases, and a linearly movable ejector configured to eject the stack from the loading surface. A front abutment guide configured to move between an abutment and a clearing position to retain and release the stack.
Palletizer
A palletizer for stacking cargo, such as bags or boxes, onto a pallet in multiple layers is disclosed. The palletizer includes a main frame extending in vertical direction; pallet lifting means for lifting a pallet, which pallet lifting means are arranged to the main frame and are movable in vertical direction between the base of the main frame and the top of the main frame; a manipulator arranged to the top of the main frame for positioning the cargo and forming a layer on top of a pallet lifted by the pallet lifting means; and a supply main conveyor, such as a belt conveyor, arranged with one end to the top of the main frame for supplying cargo to the manipulator. The manipulator includes a sub-frame movable in a horizontal plane relative to the top of the main frame; a first floor arranged in the sub-frame and a second floor arranged in the sub-frame and above the first floor, wherein each floor has an opening, which can be closed by a door, such as a trap door, and wherein the openings in the floors are aligned when viewed in a vertical direction; and a supply sub conveyor arranged with one end adjacent to the one end of the supply main conveyor and arranged with the other end to the sub-frame and adjacent to the opening in second floor, such that cargo is conveyed on top of the door closing the opening in the second floor. The first floor is rotatable relative to the sub-frame and around a vertical axis.
PALLET ASSEMBLY AND METHOD OF USE
A pallet assembly including an overhead conveyor system having a conveyor platform and a push rail, a loading assembly, a stacking assembly, and a release assembly. The loading assembly provides a pallet to the overhead conveyor system. The stacking assembly is located below the conveyor platform and includes a first chute, a first movable floor, and a first height adjustment mechanism. The release assembly, which is coupled to a portion of the conveyor platform, includes a portion selectively configured to release a pallet into a first chute.
WORKPIECE LOADING APPARATUS
A workpiece loading apparatus includes a pick-up stage, an A-side palletizing stage and a B-side palletizing stage, an A-side lifting device, a B-side lifting device, and a workpiece transfer device. The workpiece transfer device is configured to transfer a workpiece picked up from the pick-up stage to one of an A-side stocker or a B-side stocker until the stocker becomes full, and a corresponding one of the A-side lifting device or the B-side lifting device is configured to operate so that a height of the corresponding one of the A-side stocker or the B-side stocker is aligned with a workpiece horizontal movement height of the workpiece transfer device. When one of the A-side stocker or the B-side stocker becomes full, the workpiece transfer device switches an operation to transfer of the workpiece to another one of the stockers.
APPARATUS FOR STACKING TACO SHELLS
A taco stacking apparatus comprises a conveyor assembly for supporting and moving taco shells along a predefined pathway. The conveyor assembly defines an opening in the predefined pathway that enables the taco shells to pass through the conveyor assembly. A stacking receptacle defines a channel for receiving taco shells passed through the opening in the predefined pathway of the conveyor assembly. A plunger assembly passes a taco shell through the opening in the predefined pathway of the conveyor assembly to the stacking receptacle.
Dunnage Separation System and Related Methods
An end effector includes a base, a first leg, a second leg, a first arm, and a second arm. The first leg is connected to the base. The second leg is connected to the base and is offset from the first leg. The first arm is pivotably connected to the first leg. The second arm is pivotably connected to the second leg. The first leg and the first arm are configured to releasably hold a first portion of a dunnage unit. The second leg and the second arm are configured to releasably hold a second portion of the dunnage unit.
BATTERY CELL STACKING APPARATUS
A battery cell stacking apparatus includes a skid to hold parts, a linear conveyor that moves the skid forward, and a linear shuttle that moves the skid from side to side. Arranged along the shuttle's path are three types of loading equipment. A first and a second loading apparatus work to alternately stack battery cells onto the skid. A separate third loading apparatus places protective pads between the layers of cels. The conveyor and shuttle work together to move the kid to each piece of equipment in sequence. The system can also feature a lifting apparatus to raise the finished stack and an elevator to return empty skids.
