Gripping and handling device for pallets and for layer pads for palletized loads and relative methods
A device for gripping and handling pallets and/or layer pads, is provided with an attachment flange for a multiple axis movement mechanism, for example a robot of anthropomorphic type or Cartesian type, including a first anti-collision safety group, fixed to the attachment flange, with a device for detecting the vertical position of the pallet and/or of the layer pad to be picked up; a second group, connected to the first group, for the gripping, centering of the pallet and/or of the layer pad and with safety function with regard to accidental pallet falls, with a first section for gripping the pallets, for centering the pallets and/or the layer pads, and a second section for gripping the layer pads; and a control unit for supervising and controlling the functions of the device itself. Methods for gripping a pallet and/or a layer pad which use the device are also provided.

PACK STACKER SYSTEM
A pack stacker system for stacking articles is presented. The pack stacker system is configured to lift an article from a conveyor while the conveyor is in operation and stack the article on a second article while the conveyor is in continuous operation. The pack stacker system is accurate and can operate without human intervention.

Gripping member and telescopic vacuum champer for gripping a layer of products
A gripping member for gripping a layer of products includes an upper closed wall, a suction plane associated on the lower side of the upper wall, mechanical gripping elements, a lower safety support plane, movable between an open position of disengagement from the gripping area and a closed position at least partially in engagement with the gripping area, and a telescopic chamber, open only toward the bottom. The telescopic chamber is fastenable around the product layer and is connectable to means for generating depression or vacuum, for pneumatically lifting the product layer by means of depression. The telescopic chamber includes a peripheral continuous gripping ring arranged at the periphery of the upper wall and consists of four angular elements and at least four plate-like side elements, which are slidably arranged with respect to the angular elements. The upper wall has adjustable plane dimensions.

System and method for buffering differently cut boards for a wooden structure
A system and a method are described for the intermediate storage of differently cut boards for a wooden structure, in particular a truss, with several compartments arranged laterally adjacent to one another. The compartments are each configured for receiving a set of boards for such a wooden structure, wherein a set is to be understood as the entirety of cut boards which are required for such a wooden structure. A feeding device fills the cut boards into the individual compartments and stacks them over one another therein. The compartments can be opened respectively at their underside, in order to remove the set of boards. A discharge device transports away the set of boards removed from the respective compartment.

Article Loading Facility
A control unit performs first loading control that is to be performed when a target article that has been determined by a determination unit as being an article that is in an appropriate orientation is to be loaded onto a first supporting member in the appropriate orientation, and second loading control that is to be performed when a target article that has been determined by the determination unit as being an article that is in an inappropriate orientation is to be loaded onto the first supporting member in the appropriate orientation. The first loading control is performed to control a loading operation unit to suck and support a first sucking-target surface of a target article that is supported by the second supporting member, from above, then move a sucking portion, and thereafter release the target article from the state of being sucked by the sucking portion, and the second loading control is performed to control the loading operation unit to perform an orientation changing operation, and thereafter release the target article from the state of being sucked by the sucking portion when the target article is located immediately above the first supporting member and the first sucking-target surface faces upward.
