A base is coupled to the reel housing and is configured to attach to a fishing pole. A line spool is coupled within the inner cavity and is configured to receive a fishing line. A motor is coupled to the line spool to wind and unwind the fishing line on the line spool. A power source is coupled within the inner cavity and is in operational communication with the motor. A plurality of control buttons is in operational communication with the motor. A video recorder is coupled to the reel housing. A CPU is in operational communication with each of the motor, the power source, the plurality of control buttons, and the video recorder.
DUAL-BEARING REEL
A dual-bearing reel for casting a fishing line in a forward direction includes a first side plate on a first side, a second side plate on a second side, a rod mounting portion, a front cover and a handle. The second side plate is apart from the first side plate in a lateral direction so as to form a space therebetween. The rod mounting portion is disposed between the first side plate and the second side plate. The front cover has a distal end portion, and covers the space between the first side plate and the second side plate from a front. The handle disposed on the first side. The center of the distal end portion of the front cover in the lateral direction is positioned toward the first side relative to a center of the rod mounting portion in the lateral direction.
DUAL-BEARING REEL
A dual-bearing reel includes a reel body and an attachment/detachment mechanism. The attachment/detachment mechanism includes an attachment/detachment operation portion, a first locking member and a second locking member. The first locking member is located on a side plate of the reel body. The second locking member is swingable relative to the first locking member. The attachment/detachment mechanism is configured to permit or restrict rotation of the attachment/detachment operation portion relative to the side plate by using the first locking member and the second locking member. When the attachment/detachment operation portion is operated to rotate while the second locking member is at a rotation-restricting position, an engagement portion presses an engaged portion such that swinging of the second locking member from the rotation-restricting position to a rotation-permitting position is restricted.
FISHING REEL WITH PLANETARY DRIVE AND OFFSET GEAR
A fishing rod assembly includes a rod and a reel assembly. The reel assembly includes a housing, a spool positioned within the housing, the spool configured to rotate about a central axis to retrieve or let out fishing line, and a gear set configured to drive the spool to rotate about the central axis, the gear set includes a first set of gears and a second set of gears. The gear set is configured to receive input rotational kinetic energy through the second set of gears and output rotational kinetic energy to the spool through the first set of gears. The first set of gears includes a planetary gear set arranged about the central axis, and the second set of gears is arranged about an offset axis that is spaced from the central axis.
FISHING REEL
A fishing reel includes a reel body and a sensor unit. The reel body has a handle configured to be rotated about a handle axis. The sensor unit is attached to the reel body. The sensor unit includes a unit body disposed coaxially with the handle axis, a behavior sensor disposed within the unit body and configured to detect behavior when the reel body is used, and a communicator disposed within the unit body and configured to transmit behavior data to the outside based on the behavior detected by the behavior sensor.
Dual-bearing reel
A dual-bearing reel includes a spool, a spool shaft, a spool supporting portion, a reel body, and a rotating member. The rotating member is disposed to be capable of rotating between a first position in which the spool supporting portion can be removed from the reel body and a second position in which the spool supporting portion cannot be removed from the reel body. In the first position the radially outside portion of the rotating member is disposed spaced apart from the reel body in at least one of a radial direction and an axial direction. In the second position the radially outside portion is disposed on the inside of the outer surface of the body portion in the radial direction, when viewing the rotating member from the outside in the axial direction.
Braking apparatus for dual-bearing reel
A braking device for a spool that is rotatably supported by a reel body includes a spool braking device, a rotational speed detector, and an electronic controller. The spool braking device is configured to brake a spool in an electrically controllable manner. The rotational speed detector is configured to detect a rotational speed of the spool. The electronic controller is configured to control the spool braking device to brake the spool with a first braking force for a first predetermined period of time, and control the spool braking device to brake the spool with a second braking force that is based on a change in the rotational speed after the first predetermined period of time has elapsed.
SPINNING REEL
A hook keeper configured to be mounted on a fishing reel includes a locking part and a holding part. The locking part includes a locking portion, a hole penetrating the locking portion and a slit extending from the hole to an outside surface of the locking part and extending from a first end surface to a second end surface of the locking part in a central axial direction of the hole. The holding part is configured to hold the locking part and has a joining part configured to mount the holding part on the fishing reel.
Fishing reel with concentric driveline
A fishing rod assembly includes a rod and a reel assembly. The reel assembly includes a housing, a spool positioned within the housing, the spool configured to rotate about an axis to retrieve or let out a fishing line, a drive mechanism concentric with the axis, the drive mechanism configured to receive rotational kinetic energy from a user and drive the spool to take-up fishing line when a counter-torque provided to the spool by the fishing line is less than a target torque, and a drag mechanism. The drag mechanism is configured to be driven by the drive mechanism and at least one of (a) drive the spool to take-up the fishing line when the counter-torque provided to the spool by the fishing line is less than the target torque or (b) provide a drag force to the spool when the counter-torque provided to the spool by the fishing line is less than the target torque.
ELECTRIC FISHING REEL
An electric fishing reel comprises a reel main body that comprises a left frame and a right frame and side plates covering the left and right frames, an operating part that is provided on a side of the left frame or a side of the right frame and is rotatable, a handle shaft of the operating part, a drive gear that comprises a cylindrical portion and a tooth surface and is rotatably frictionally coupled to the handle shaft, and a drag washer that is non-rotatably fitted to the handle shaft and is provided at an end of the drive gear on a side in a direction of the handle shaft, in which a protruding portion protruding in a direction of the drive gear from an inside of the side plate covering the left frame or the right frame is provided, and an end of the protruding portion is formed to be separated by a distance equal to or less than 3.0 mm with respect to an upper surface of the drive gear as viewed in the direction of the handle shaft.
