A container with improved sealing, for improved security in the event of loading, transporting and/or unloading submicron particles, in particular nanopowder/nanoparticles, includes a connector for injecting liquid and/or gas. Such a container can also contain at least one inflatable seal (40) valve (3; 4). The container is provided with elements for changing the physical state of the material by heating, mixing or ultrasound bombardment. A method for using the container and an inflatable seal valve are also described.

A sealing system for connecting a bulk bag to a material handling and processing system. The sealing system comprises a main housing and a discharge tube housed within the main housing. The discharge tube is configured to fluidly connect the bulk bag with the material handling and processing system. The sealing system additionally comprises a first seal configured to selectively seal the bulk bag with respect to the discharge tube, and a second seal configured to selectively seal an interior space of the main housing from the material handling and processing system.

A docking seal for the contamination-free connection of a first flexible casing or enveloping enclosure with a second flexible casing, comprising a first seal device which is connectable or is connected with the first casing, and a second seal device which is connectable or is connected with the second casing, wherein the first seal device includes a first docking port, a first end port and a first slider, and the second seal device comprises a second docking port, a second end port and a second slider. The invention, furthermore, relates to a docking method for the contamination-free connection of a first flexible casing with a second flexible casing with such a docking seal.

A bulk material transport system includes one or more bulk material transport bins, weighing platforms, and vehicles arranged in various combinations as bulk material transporters, assemblies, and units. The system is useful for coupling with a bulk material container, forming a reduced pressure region at an inlet of the transport bin, and dispensing bulk material into the transport bin through the reduced pressure region.

The application relates to an emptying device for emptying a container containing a product, including: a docking portion for docking to a rigid container to be emptied, in particular a drum, wherein in the docking portion a passage is formed by an adjustable sealing device, wherein the passage can be adjusted via the sealing device in such a way that an adapter piece being fixed to a flexible container enclosing the product, in particular a liner or a film bag, inside the rigid container, can be fastened within the passage in such a way that an enclosed inner space defined by the docking portion and the rigid container is sealed off from an external environment.

Mechanism for controlling a device for sealingly connecting an enclosure and a container, with the enclosure comprising a door (10) and the container comprising a door (14), with the door (10) of the enclosure containing the control mechanism (D), with that comprising a male element (34) cooperating with a recess of the door (14) of the container, with this male element (34) being rotatably movable about and translatably movable along a longitudinal axis (X) and is capable of being accommodated in the recess of the door (14), of locking the two doors (10, 14) together and of unlocking the door (14) of the container.

A gravimetric metering unit for bulk material has a metering means having a container for bulk material to be metered and a base unit. The base unit has a conveyor channel that feeds into an outlet line of the metering unit via a connection device having a flexible sealing element. Via the connection device, the conveyor channel can be operationally connected to the outlet line and detached again from same. The connection device has a magnetic securing arrangement for the operational connection of the sealing element at least to either the outlet line or the conveyor channel or to both.

A transfer adapter for connecting a bag or a tubular liner (510) to a container (60) for filling or emptying said bag or a tubular liner. The transfer adapter has an adapter unit (20) for connecting to an aperture of a container, the adapter unit having an inner wall delimiting a transfer opening, and a retaining (101, 102). The retaining unit includes a retaining fixture (11) for receiving a circumferential strip of a bag or of a tubular liner (510), and a retaining element (12) being configured to hold said circumferential strip in the retaining fixture (11). The retaining unit (101, 102) is dimensioned to be removably positioned inside transfer opening such that the transfer opening together with the open bag or together with the open tubular liner (510) form a transfer passage. A transfer system also includes the adapter as well as a method of transferring material between a container and a bag or a tubular liner through the transfer adapter.
