FISHING REEL
A fishing reel includes a spool supported between side plates of a reel body through a spool shaft; and a clutch mechanism that switches between a power transmission state that winds a fishing line and a power cutoff state capable of unwinding a fishing line by moving a pinion gear of a winding drive mechanism in an axial direction of the spool shaft by operating the switching operation member provided on the reel body to engage and disengage clutch engagement portions of the spool shaft and the pinion gear, wherein, provided between the bearing that supports the spool shaft and the clutch engagement portion on the spool shaft side are: a first elastic portion applying an elastic force to an end of the pinion gear in the power transmission state; and a second elastic portion constantly energizing a side of the bearing in the axial direction of the spool shaft.
Spinning type fishing reel with bi-directionally rotating rotor and drag control to prevent line twist
A fishing spinning reel that eliminates problems associated with line twist by providing a rotor adapted for both forward and reverse rotation wherein a drag assembly applies drag to the rotor using an adjustable cam mechanism to prevent the rotor from imparting twist on the line when in the winding mode. By enabling the rotor to rotate in a reverse direction with the application of drag the present invention prevents line twist when fighting a fish by allowing the rotor to rotate in a reverse direction to let out line and/or to remain stationary as the handle is cranked thereby preventing the rotor from imparting twist on the line.
Fishing reel
In an aspect, provided is a fishing reel having a backplate that is mountable to a fishing rod and a spool rotatably mounted to the backplate. The spool has a circumferentially-extending line storage channel configured for storage of fishing line. The fishing reel includes a friction mechanism including at least one rotatable friction surface rotatable with the spool and engageable with a stationary friction surface during rotation of the spool relative to the backplate, and provides an actuator arm that is movable between first and second positions. In the first position, the actuator arm disables the friction mechanism to permit free rotation of the spool relative to the backplate, and in the second position, the actuator arm actuates the friction mechanism to cause frictional engagement between the rotatable friction surface and the stationary friction surface during rotation of the spool in a first rotational direction.
FISHING REEL COMPRISING BEARING
A fishing reel, including a frame; a reel seat disposed in the frame and including a central through hole; a spool disposed on the reel seat; a main shaft slidably disposed in the central through hole, and including a first end and a second end; a roller disposed on the first end of the main shaft; a first gear and a second gear both disposed on the second end of the main shaft; a handle disposed on the frame and connected to the first gear; a release button disposed on the frame; a first pressure spring disposed between the second gear and the main shaft; a line guide seat disposed on the roller; a line hanging rod disposed on the line guide seat; an elastic member disposed between the line guide seat and the roller; and a cam unit disposed on one end of the reel seat.
FISHING REEL SPOOL LINE CLASP
A clasp is fixed onto a reel and may be original equipment in the reel, or alternatively, the spool may be a replacement or supplemental spool for use in an existing reel. The spool component of a reel includes a central core with flanges on each side to retain a line wound thereon. The spool is intended to be rotated/spun in the reel or alternatively fixed where the line feeder rotates around the spool. The clasp may be positioned on the surface of the core or on the inside surface of one of the side flanges. This way, a fishing line is anchored on the inside of a spool as the line is wound around and builds up outwardly in the spool.
FLY REEL AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
A fly reel exclusively used for fly fishing is proposed. In the fly reel, a spool having a -shape (bobbin shape) to be able to wind a fishing line thereon is composed of two left and right body sections, the body sections are formed and manufactured using a carbon sheet material, a metallic spool cover having a ring frame shape is integrally coupled to the outer surface of the body section disposed opposite a reel body of the left and right body sections, and a reel body disposed on a first side of the spool and supporting rotation of the spool in cooperation with a shaft member is also divided into a main body covering the first side of the spool and a body cover having a ring frame shape and coupled to the outer surface of the main body.
Bait casting reel
Provided is a bait casting reel for preventing friction or break of a spool plate and a braking magnet due to contact by deformation of a rotary shaft of a spool or a friction washer, etc., by employing a variable spool plate coupled to be able to move left and right in the longitudinal direction of a spool shaft so that a user can easily and freely adjust a braking force after setting a maximum braking force of a braking magnet without replacing or changing parts, and by enabling a user to perform zero adjustment such that the spool plate and the braking magnet is minimally spaced to set a maximum braking force of the braking magnet by moving the spool plate and the braking magnet in contact with each other when the spool plate is moved the outermost side.
Fishing reel having pinion support structure
Provided is a fishing reel having a pinion support structure. The fishing reel is configured such that a spool shaft and a pinion are spaced apart from each other without being in contact with each other, so that it is possible to prevent reduction in casting distance and noise generation during casting due to friction between the spool shaft and the pinion. The fishing reel includes: a spool shaft provided such that opposite ends thereof are mounted axially between opposite side covers, and including a main shaft and a pinion shaft; and a clutch means fitted over the pinion shaft and moved forward and backward in a longitudinal direction of the pinion shaft, and including a pinion which is provided with a stopper at a second end portion to be engaged with the fastening pin.
SPOOL FOR A DUAL-BEARING REEL
A spool of a dual-bearing reel includes a bobbin trunk, first and second flange portions and cylindrical portions. The first flange portion extends outwardly from the first end of the bobbin trunk and the second flange portion extends outwardly from the second end of the bobbin trunk. The first and second flanges do not have through-holes penetrating therethrough in an axial direction. The cylindrical portions extend outwardly from distal end portions of the flange portions. The first and second flange portions have a first tapered portion and a second tapered portion, respectively, each of the first and tapered portions becoming thinner in a radially outward direction. An average width between the first and tapered portions is less than or equal to 60% of an outer diameter of the cylindrical portion.
DOUBLE BEARING REEL
A double bearing reel includes a spool braking device that rotatably supports a spool including a bobbin body on which a fishing line is wound and flange portions formed on both sides of the bobbin body between side plates of a reel body and that applies a braking force to the rotation of the spool, wherein the spool braking device includes a conductive annular body that rotates integrally with the spool and a magnet facing outer peripheral surface of the conductive annular body, and the conductive annular body and the magnet are disposed axially inward of an outer end surface of the flange portions and radially inward of the bobbin body.
