Safety flag system for loading docks
A safety system for a loading dock indicates to a driver of an associated trailer whether it is safe to move the trailer and that the trailer door is closed and that dock crew and equipment are out of the trailer. The safety system utilizes a dock plate handle and/or a visual safety chain to engage an indicator. The indicator automatically indicates a stop or unsafe state when the dock plate handle and/or the visual safety chain are not engaged. The indicator automatically indicates a go or safe state when the dock plate handle and/or the visual safety chain engage the indicator.
SAFETY PROTECTION APPARATUS OF BOARDING BRIDGE WALKING MECHANISM
The present disclosure provides a safety protection apparatus of a boarding bridge walking mechanism, the safety protection apparatus includes an inner retainer mechanism, an outer retainer mechanism, a connecting mechanism and an induction and control mechanism. The inner retainer mechanism includes an inner bracket and a first universal wheel. The outer retainer mechanism includes an outer bracket. The outer bracket is disposed on the outer circumference of the inner bracket, and a lower end of the outer bracket is lower than a lower end of the inner bracket. The connecting mechanism includes a first connecting component. The first connecting component is connected between the inner bracket and the outer bracket, such that the inner bracket is hinged with the outer bracket. The induction and control mechanism includes an induction unit.
Protective panel for shielding a dock pad
A protective panel for shielding a dock pad while loading and unloading cargo includes a protective panel, a plurality of mounting holes, and a plurality of panel fasteners. The protective panel is mounted to a metallic door jamb of a loading dock via the plurality of panel fasteners. The plurality of mounting holes in turn allow the plurality of panel fasteners to attach to the protective pad. The protective panel includes a flat body and a curved body. The flat body protects the side of the dock pad, whereas the curved body protects the edge of the dock pad. As such, the flat body is connected adjacent to the curved body. Finally, each of the plurality of panel fasteners is attached to a corresponding hole from the plurality of mounting holes. Thus, the number of panel fasteners can be adjusted depending on the size and weight of the protective pad.
Loading Dock with Integrated Leveler
A modular loading dock with a mobile base which includes two, opposing, adjustable leg members and top and bottom surfaces, the top surface having an opening to receive a dock leveler into such opening, the dock leveler includes a lower end and an upper end, the upper end abuts a preexisting structure and the lower end includes a lower edge having a lip, the lip is able to be activated between an extended/engaged position to contact a truck bed and a retracted/disengaged position. The mobile base also includes a housing with a modular frame mounted onto the base in sections, the sections include a frame-front wall, opposed frame-sidewalls and a frame-top wall, the frame-front wall has a vehicle-receiving opening to receive a back end of a vehicle.
SEAL APPARATUS FOR DOCK LEVELERS
Seal apparatus for dock levelers are disclosed. An example loading dock includes a dock leveler movable between a standard loading position, a cross-traffic position and a below-deck loading position. The dock leveler has deck and lip movably coupled to the deck. A seal assembly is coupled to the loading dock adjacent a forward edge of the dock leveler. The seal assembly sealingly engages a front surface of a lip of the dock leveler and a rear surface of the lip when the dock leveler is positioned in a cross-traffic position or a below-dock position.
Enhanced deployment of safety cage apparatus for tanks on vehicles
A cage for surrounding a section of a work area of the top of rolling stock forms part of a portable fall protection device that includes a positioning mechanism capable of telescoping, folding and pivoting motions that are maneuvered by pneumatically-powered or hydraulically-powered apparatus. A gate, lock, pressure lines, valves and control devices are combined with the cage to ensure proper deployment of worker fall protection in this working environment.
Curtain assemblies or seals for dock levelers
A dock leveler apparatus includes a curtain assembly that includes an upper curtain section and a lower curtain section. The curtain assembly is movable between a folded configuration and a pendant configuration. The curtain assembly extends a greater distance in the pendant configuration than in the folded configuration. A connector couples to the upper curtain section to a deck pivotally coupled to a base frame of a dock leveler. A releasable coupling is provided between the upper curtain section and the lower curtain section. The releasable coupling is to removably couple the lower curtain section and the upper curtain section.
ACTUATED HEAD PAD FOR LOADING DOCK
A head pad assembly includes a plurality of head pad subassemblies pivotably joined along their lateral edge so as to allow vertical rotation of one subassembly relative to an adjoining subassembly when the head pad is actuated. At least one head pad subassembly includes a stiff upper backing portion and a lower compressible pad. The head pad assembly further includes one or more flexible hinges coupling the plurality of head pad subassemblies along their lateral edges to effect the vertical rotation. The head pad assembly further includes an actuator assembly configured to raise and lower the plurality of head pad subassemblies between an upper position and a lower, sealing position.
Load dock leveler prop
The load dock leveler prop is configured for use with a loading dock. The loading dock is further defined with a dock plate. The load dock leveler prop is a prop used to prop the dock plate when the dock plate is bridging a gap between the loading dock and a trailer. The load dock leveler prop is a vertically adjustable jack structure. The load dock leveler prop comprises a dock head, a stanchion and a pedestal. The dock head mechanically supports the inferior side of the dock plate by forming a load path between the dock plate and the stanchion. The stanchion is a supporting shaft that forms a load path between the dock head and the pedestal. The cant between the dock head and the stanchion is adjustable. The pedestal is a foundational structure that forms a load path between the stanchion and a supporting surface.
Telescoping ramp
A telescoping ramp may include first and second ramp sections such that the second ramp section may be received within the first ramp section and translated between an extended position and a retracted position. The telescoping ramp may include a locking mechanism that extends between at least one of pairs of rails of the first and second ramp sections. The locking mechanism may include a pair of locking pins that is selectively engageable with the first and second ramp sections. In one embodiment, the pair of locking pins may include handle portions that may be disposed between the at least one of the pairs of rails. In such embodiment, an axial movement of the handle portions along a common axis of the pair of locking pins may lock the second ramp section relative to the first ramp section.
