The primary flow system includes a primary flow belt for conveying an article along a primary flow path from an infeed side of the modular transfer system to a pass-through side of the modular transfer system. The diverter system includes one or more diverter belts for diverting an article from the primary flow path towards a divert side of the modular transfer system. The primary flow belt includes multiple movable components contacting the diverter belt. The movable components can have one or more rotational degrees of freedom.

PICKING STATION FOR PICKING ARTICLES INTO ORDER CONTAINERS AND CONVEYOR BAGS FOR ORDER AND BATCH PICKING
20180251303 · 2018-09-06 · ·

A system and method for a picking station operation, provides switched flexibly between single-step- and dual-step-picking into various types of order containers. The task is solved by the provision of a second order container conveyor technique for transporting second order containers, in particular boxes, for receiving articles into order container bays, arranged also in the arrangement row, of the picking station.

RELAY DEVICE
20180251246 · 2018-09-06 ·

Provided is a relay device capable of moving objects to be conveyed from a conveying section of a continuous conveying system to a conveying section of an intermittent conveying system in various modes. The relay device includes: a first conveying section that conveys the objects to be conveyed, continuously in a forward direction in a first direction; a second conveying section that transfers a plurality of assembly sections intermittently in the forward direction in the first direction; a relay conveying section provided between the first conveying section and the second conveying section; and a relay driving section that moves the relay conveying section in the first direction. The relay driving section moves the relay conveying section in the forward direction in the first direction, at the same speed as a speed at which the plurality of objects are conveyed in the forward direction of the first direction by the first conveying section, at least while the first pusher moves the plurality of objects in the forward direction of the second direction.

Transport bag for transporting and/or storing articles, and transport device comprising said transport bag

A transport bag (15) for transporting and/or storing articles comprises a front wall (21b) and a back wall (21a) that are flexibly connected to one another via a bottom section (21c) so as to be movable back and forth between a first configuration in which the front wall and back wall form an upwardly open bag that can be filled from above, and a second configuration in which the front wall and back wall lie closely alongside one another and form a bag that is folded together, wherein the back wall (21a) is extended upward above and beyond the height of the front wall (21b) with a support section (15a) for fastening the transport bag (15) to a transport device (10.2). Easy filling and emptying of the transport bag (15) is achieved by providing an opening (16, 19, 20) that automatically brings the transport bag (15) into the first configuration and keeps the transport bag there, and allows a deliberate shift from the first configuration into the second configuration.

PICKING SYSTEM AND PICKING SITE FOR PICKING ARTICLES FOR ORDER AND BATCH PICKING
20180244473 · 2018-08-30 ·

A system for picking articles from storage containers into containers by using a computer for handling and processing picking orders and a picking station according to the good-to-person-principle. Selected articles by the computer are picked from the storage containers into conveyor bags, and a suspension conveyor transports the conveyor bags to a packing location for packing the articles assigned to a picking order, and retrieves the conveyor bags into the order container assigned to the picking order. An order container conveyor transports order containers (boxes), and the computer processes a first picking order to determine the number of article to be picked at the picking station such that the number of articles required for picking the first picking order is picked into the order container assigned to the first picking order with later articles matched/picked to a conveyor bag for later picking of further picking orders at the packing location.

AUTOMATED BIN PACKING TOOL
20180237235 · 2018-08-23 ·

A system automatically loads a bin with a filled deformable container such as a sack of produce being conveyed along horizontal rollers. A movable support structure has a coupling end attachable to a robotic arm, and a lifting end supporting a plurality of parallel rods. By means of the robotic arm and a programmable logic controller, the plurality of parallel rods can be positioned between and parallel to the horizontal rollers, raised when the container is conveyed to a loading position above the parallel rods, moved to a predetermined position above the bin, and rotated to allow the container to slide downward along the parallel rods and into the bin under force of gravity. The loading sequence can be repeated a number of times, changing the predetermined position each time to stack a plurality of the containers in a desired configuration such as overlapping rows of offset sacks.

Bag stacker

An assembly (10) to dispatch bags (14). The assembly (10) includes a conveyor (12) that provides rows of bags (14), with the rows of bags (14) supported on a first delivery assembly (18) that moves each row downward to form stacks (47) of bags (14) on a second delivery assembly (34). Stacks (14) of the bags (14) are then moved downward to be moved into containers or boxes.

Method for emptying the pockets of a transport device in the form of a suspension conveyor, and device for carrying out said method
10040641 · 2018-08-07 · ·

A method for emptying the pockets of a transport device in the form of a suspension conveyor, the transport device including one or more trolleys which are movably mounted on a trolley track and on each of which a pocket hanging downwards for receiving goods is arranged, the pocket formed by at least one flexible material web that is planar when open and that is fastened at both ends to the trolley, forming a loop hanging downwards. The material web is releasably fastened by at least one end to the trolley. The method includes: advancing a closed pocket, opening the pocket by releasing the fastening of the at least one end of the material web to the trolley, emptying the goods from the opened pocket, closing the pocket by fastening the at least one end of the material web to the trolley, and transporting away the emptied and closed pocket.
