Overhead labware transport system
A selectably configurable modular labware transport system including a labware bulk overhead transport system module forming an overhead transport path. The labware bulk overhead transport system module has a labware support, with at least a movable part of the labware support being configured to support labware thereon, and move longitudinally defining the overhead transport path. The labware support has more than one labware holding stations for holding a labware piece, each of the labware holding stations having a different location along the labware support and overhead transport path. The labware bulk overhead transport system module is communicably couplable to another labware bulk overhead transport system module that forms another different overhead transport path, and effects undisrupted transport of the labware throughout the overhead transport path with the labware bulk overhead transport system module both coupled to and uncoupled from the other labware bulk overhead transport system module.

A processing system includes a conveyance system including: a conveyance body unit having a conveyance surface; a movable body moving along the conveyance surface; and a conveyance control unit controlling a magnetism acting between the movable body and the conveyance body unit, wherein the movable body moves along the conveyance surface in a floating state where the movable body is separated from the conveyance surface due to the magnetism, wherein the conveyance control unit controls the magnetism to variably adjust one or more of a movement trajectory, a rotation state, a movement speed, a movement time and a posture of the movable body.

A grid framework structure includes a plurality of upright columns for one or more containers to be stacked, the plurality of upright columns being interconnected at their top ends by grid members which support first and second sets of tracks for a load handling device to move containers on the grid framework structure. A supply zone includes at least one vertical chute. A buffer zone vertically accumulates containers and includes at least one bin lift device. An access station is intermediate of the supply zone. A conveyor system conveys containers from the supply zone to the buffer zone via the access station.

An inventory handling station assembly for a storage and retrieval system is disclosed. METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR HANDLING AND TRANSPORTING LAUNDRY IN BAGS
A method and system for handling and transporting laundry in bags/sacks by means of laundry handling stations and a transport system for transporting the bags/sacks to, through and/or from and/or between the laundry handling stations. The method includes receiving one or more containers of dirty unsorted laundry at a first laundry handling station, emptying the container(s) of dirty unsorted laundry and putting dirty unsorted laundry into the laundry handling station by removing dirty unsorted laundry from each container, and handling the dirty unsorted laundry in the first laundry handling station and then transporting the laundry from the first laundry handling station to a second laundry handling station.

A hanging bag storage system serves to store, pick, sort and retrieve storage articles. The hanging bag storage includes a first level, a network, and at least one block, in which the hanging bags can be deposited, stored without movement, and fetched again.
