Barrel elevator including shielded actuation mechanisms
A barrel elevator system for vertically moving barrels of liquid between a ground floor and any one of a number of floors at a warehouse for storage of the barrels. The barrel elevator system includes a support frame located in an elevator shaft and a series of cradle assemblies supported between a pair of lifting chains. A loading station is located on the ground floor for receiving barrels to be stored or for removing barrels after storage. Each floor includes a unloading station that allows barrels to be removed from the cradle for storage and returned to the cradles after storage. Each of the loading and unloading stations includes a shield assembly to restrict access to the elevator shaft. A rail section and handle are used to load and unload barrels from the cradles. The handle extends through the shield assembly for access by an operator.
HEIGHT ADJUSTED SEISMIC BASE ISOLATION SYSTEM
A seismic isolation system includes at least one adjustable foot attached to a container. The at least one adjustable foot has a height at least sufficient to support the container such that the container does not touch a surface on which the container rests. The seismic isolation system further includes a sliding pad affixed to a portion of the at least one adjustable foot facing the surface. The sliding pad is configured to provide a coefficient of static and kinetic friction between the sliding pad and the surface that prevents relative movement of the sliding pad and the surface in normal operation and allows the sliding pad to move relative to the surface during a seismic event.
Barrel rolling safety device
A barrel rolling safety device and a method relating to using the barrel safety rolling device are disclosed herein. The barrel safety rolling device includes a base plate having a plurality of apertures, a stopping arm having at least a first end, a second end, and a stopping arm aperture, and a pin having at least a removal ring. Each of the apertures may be configured to receive the pin, and one or more bushings allow the stopping arm to rotate between various positions based on which aperture of the apertures receives the pin. In various embodiments, the stopping arm may allow a barrel to traverse a dunnage in a first direction, but prevent the barrel from traversing the dunnage in a second direction. In various embodiments, the stopping arm may prevent the barrel from traversing the rack in both the first direction and second direction.
ROTATING VERTICAL STORAGE SYSTEM FOR BARRELS
A rotating vertical storage system for barrels is provided. The system may comprise a first vertical support tower and a second vertical support tower. A first vertical support tower may have a first upper sprocket wheel and a first lower sprocket wheel with a first carrier chain rotationally coupled to the upper and lower first sprocket wheels. A second vertical support tower may have a second upper sprocket wheel and a second lower sprocket wheel with a second carrier chain rotationally coupled to the upper and lower second sprocket wheels. The system may further include a first cradle with a first end coupled to the first carrier chain and with a second end coupled to the second carrier chain. The cradle may comprise a plurality of barrel receiving valleys adapted to removably secure a plurality of barrels such as kegs.

Modular storage system for barrels
The present invention relates to a modular storage system for barrels. The modular storage system includes a base rick module, an aisle rick module, and an end rick module, whereby a plurality of each module type may be assembled to construct a rickhouse.
Keg management system for walk-in refrigerators
Handling and storage of beer kegs in walk-in coolers used in the food/beverage industry. The invention utilizes a track system with an electric hoist to lift and stack kegs anywhere within the defined beer cooler. The invention is designed to optimize the keg storage footprint and better organize keg rotation. With the optional digital scale, the end user can take the guess work out of calculating partial kegs for precise inventory control.
Transportation system
A transportation system for stacking/carrying of containers including a panel, which has a stacking unit positioned on the panel and including a first body in which the containers are stacked; a transport element for transferring the container onto the panel by means of a first displacing member and including a base on which the container is placed; a second displacing member for transferring the container positioned on the base into the first body; a gripping arm that holds the transferred container; a third displacing member that moves the gripping arm; and a locking arm which has a flexible member that holds the container; a transport unit positioned on the panel; a displacing mechanism; a transport arm which is associated with the movable plate and which lifts the containers; and a support shaft having a fixing arm.
Emptying System for Emptying Paste-Like Material from Barrel-Type Containers
An emptying system for emptying paste-like material from barrel-type containers having a container follower platewhich preferably can be lowered like a plunger into the interior of the containerand which includes a removal opening having a pump in operative connection with the removal opening for extracting material enclosed in the collection chamber between the container bottom and the container follower plate, wherein in the collection chamber at least one agitator is provided, which imposes on the material contained in the collection chamber a motion in relation to the container follower plate.
