SENSOR TESTING STATION
A system performs measurements in storage containers for storing items. The storage containers are stored in an automated storage system including a framework structure forming a three-dimensional storage grid structure for storing the storage containers. The grid structure forms vertical storage columns each having a horizontal area defined by the size of an access opening of the vertical storage columns. A rail system is arranged on the framework structure defining the circumference of each access opening on top of each storage column. The rail system provides available routes for container handling vehicles handling and transferring the storage containers to and from the storage columns. The system further includes a testing station, accessible to a container handling vehicle via the rail system, with measuring equipment for measuring atmospheric conditions and for performing measurements in said storage container. The testing station is configured to communicate measurement data to a computer system. The testing station includes an upper part to which a measuring platform with measuring equipment is attached, a lower part for holding a container, and connector for connecting the upper part and the lower part and the testing station includes a lifting device adapted to raise and lower the measuring platform.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONVEYOR SYSTEM CONFIGURATION, TESTING AND DIAGNOSTICS
A system and method for conveyor configuration and testing. The system is configured to execute the method, which includes: receive input data relating to configuration of a conveyor system; prepare a simulation of the configured conveyor system; operate the simulation of the conveyor system; determine at least one operational parameter related to the conveyor system to be monitored; monitor the at least one operational parameter during operation of the simulation of the conveyor system; determine if the configuration of the conveyor system needs to be adjusted based on the monitored operational parameter; if the configuration needs to be adjusted, automatically make an adjustment and return to operate the simulation of the conveyor system; and continue the simulation until otherwise terminated. In some cases, the monitoring operational parameters uses a machine learning model based on actual data from operating conveyors.

The first bogie includes a power storage device, a travel driving device, and a control device configured to control the travel driving device. The control device includes a control unit, a heat generating device configured to generate heat, and a thermally insulated case. The control unit and the heat generating device are stored in the thermally insulated case.
Temperature detection device and method for conveyor belt
A temperature detection device and method that can simply and accurately detect the presence or absence of abnormal heating of a conveyor belt. Correlation data between an electrical resistance value of a passive IC tag embedded in a conveyor belt and a temperature of the IC tag when it is activated is grasped in advance when the tag receives a transmitted radio wave from a non-contact detector. Data of electrical resistance value when the IC tag is activated is received by the detector through a returned radio wave returned from the tag in response to the transmitted radio wave transmitted from the detector toward the tag embedded in the conveyor belt running. A temperature at a position of the conveyor belt where the tag is embedded is calculated in accordance with the data of the electrical resistance value received and the correlation data.

An oven for heating a fibrous mat includes a first conveyor for conveying the mat in a forward direction, and a measurement system inside the mat, including a sensor mounted on the first conveyor and adapted to move, in a transverse direction of the mat, between a first retracted position inside the conveyor and a measurement position inside the mat under the effect of an activation system, the measurement system being such that the sensor is connected by a mechanical transmission system to a finger projecting on a lateral side of the first conveyor, and the activation system includes at least one contact surface located facing the lateral side of the conveyor and adapted to engage with the finger, when it moves in the forward direction in order to move the sensor from its retracted position to its measurement position by the mechanical transmission system.

A storage and retrieval system comprising: a grid framework structure including a plurality of storage columns for storing stacks of storage containers, and a track system arranged in a grid pattern above the storage columns for guiding one or more robotic load handling devices, each storage column being below a single grid cell; a plurality of stacks of storage containers, each container having a bottom wall and upwardly standing sidewalls and end walls, each stack occupying a single storage column, the stacks including a plurality of first type storage containers having a metallic container body and a plurality of second type storage containers having a wireless transmittable container body; and an environmental monitoring system including at least one environmental sensor with a wireless communication device stored in a second type container to define a sensor container, and a base unit external of the grid framework for receiving environmental data.
CONVEYOR IDLER MONITORING APPARATUS, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS
Conveyor idler monitoring apparatus, systems and methods are provided. In some embodiments, one or more sensors (e.g., temperature sensors, load sensors, etc.) are supported by the shaft of a conveyor idler. In some embodiments, one or more sensors are in data communication with a wireless transmitter. In some embodiments, a power generator driven by rotation of the idler is in electrical communication with one or more sensors and/or a wireless transmitter. In some embodiments, idler monitoring systems are in data communication with a conveyor monitoring system and/or operational monitoring system.
