Flexible fishing lure having an integral retainer and method of making same
A flexible plastic fishing lure has an integral retainer that is configured proximal to a front end of the fishing lure and has at least one retainer barb. The integral retainer is a harder and tougher material than the plastic used in the body of the fishing lure and is configured to seat over the jig-head barb to prevent the flexible plastic fishing lure from sliding down along the jig-head. The integral retainer has at least one retainer barb that more effectively holds the flexible plastic to the integral retainer. The integral retainer may have extension tabs that extend out radially and in some cases extend out from the flexible plastic body. The integral retainer may also have an aperture that extend along the length of the integral retainer and may be used to inject the flexible plastic into a mold.

FISHING LURE
A fishing lure comprises a body having a front end and a rear end. A cavity is positioned towards the front end of the body, and the cavity has a longitudinal direction. A connection member is located at least partially in the cavity and retained thereto by one or more retaining members. Each retaining member is able to extend into the cavity to retain the connection member in the cavity in use. The connection member is able to move, in use, in a direction transverse to the longitudinal direction.

FISHING LURE QUICK RELEASE
A quick release fishing trolling flasher lure having a front end and back end, with a receiver affixed to the back end and secured head affixed to the front end and one or more hooks connected to the secured head. In operation, the added tension of a fish on a hook causes the receiver and the secured head to separate releasing the tension along the line of the flasher, reducing the movement of the flasher and related interference with keeping a fish on the line.

DEVICE FOR CONNECTING A LURE TO FISHING LINE
A device for connecting a lure to a fishing line, the device includes a main shaft having a line attachment end and a lure holding end. A line holding element is provided at the line attachment end and a lure holding loop is provided at the lure holding end. The device further includes various other components to improve lure retention without impairing lure movement. These other components include one or more from the group of a retaining loop, three or more resistance points, a zigzag structure and a reverse direction terminating segment.
