Live bait rig
A live bait rig for adding motion to live bait as it moves through the water. The live bait rig generally includes a leader with a fixed loop adapted for attachment to a fishing line, the leader also being attached to or including a fishhook. The rig also includes a float on the leader positioned between the fixed loop and the fishhook, the float having a flat front surface toward the fixed loop and a curved rear surface toward the fishhook, and having an opening that extends from the flat front surface to the curved rear surface, wherein the opening is asymmetrically positioned on the float, wherein the leader passes through the opening such that the float is free to rotate on the leader.
Fish Hook With Collet Chuck
The present invention is a fish hook and chuck combination. Said fish hook having a barbed tip on its distal end leading to a hooked portion. Said hooked portion leading to a substantially shank at a proximal end of said fish hook. Said proximal end removably clasped between at least two collets of a chuck, wherein said at least two collets being separated by evenly spaced longitudinal slits in said chuck. Wherein said proximal end is held between said at least two collets, wherein an axial force for retaining said proximal end within said at least two collets may be enhanced or reduced by varying a width of said slits using a reciprocally moving sleeve, said sleeve encircling an exterior of said at least two collets.

Fishing lure system
A fishing lure device for use with a fishing line having a blocking portion includes a lure component with an inner passage through which the blocking portion can pass. A lure connector which is connectable to the lure component has a central passage sized for preventing the blocking portion from passing through it. When the connector is connected to the lure component at one end thereof, with a fishing line extending through the passages with the blocking portion being disposed on a part of the fishing line passing out of opposite end of the lure component, the connector is detachable from the lure component and the lure component is removable from the line by passing the blocking portion through the lure component. The invention also extends to a fishing lure assembly, a method of disassembling a fishing lure device from a fishing line, and a fishing lure device kit.

FISHING LURES
The disclosed fishing lure systems have a fishing lure, bead sleeve, and a stop that can be used in combination with a fishing line and hook. The fishing lure has a pliable body and a pre-formed hole. The bead sleeve can be fitted within the pre-formed hole with an interference fit because the pliable body expands to fit around the bead sleeve to hold it in place within the pre-formed hole. The stop is positioned on one side of the fishing lure and bead sleeve to prevent it from sliding down towards the hook or possibly over some portion of the hook. The stop can be positioned spaced apart from the hook on a fishing line so that the distance between the fishing lure and the hook remains at a desirable spacing while in use.

Artificial bait and split ring therefor
An artificial bait with a split ring has a high tensile strength and an easily detachable hook and prevents the hook from freely rotating in water. In the artificial bait provided with the split ring with the replaceable hook, the split ring is characterized in that at least one end of the wire formed in a ring shape is curved in a direction away from the intermediate portion.
Fishing lure
A fishing lure comprises a body having a front end and a rear end. A cavity is positioned towards the front end of the body, and the cavity has a longitudinal direction. A connection member is located at least partially in the cavity and retained thereto by one or more retaining members. Each retaining member is able to extend into the cavity to retain the connection member in the cavity in use. The connection member is able to move, in use, in a direction transverse to the longitudinal direction.
