EASY-TIE FISHING HOOK
A fishing hook has a shank, hairpin loop portion formed at an end of the shank, and a fastener at an opposite end of the shank. The hairpin loop portion extends downwardly from the end of the shank. The hairpin loop portion is flattened and has a width less than a diameter of the shank. The hairpin loop portion has an end extending away from the shank. The shank and the hairpin loop portion define a line-receiving slot therebetween. The fastener selected from the group consisting of a hook, a ring clip, a lobster clasp, another hairpin loop portion, and a weight.
CASTABLE OBJECT SYSTEM
A castable object is described. In some embodiments, a castable object includes: a structure including a first distal end and a second distal end; a fastener coupled to the first distal end, where the fastener is configured to couple to a fishing system; and a first fastening surface attached to at least the second distal end, where the castable object is configured to be cast by the fishing system onto a target, and where the first fastening surface is configured to removably attach to a second fastening surface of the target.

Pivoting Fishing Jig
A pivoting fishing jig is provided. The device includes a jig body having an upper section and a lower section, wherein the upper section is pivotally affixed to the lower section at a first end of each of the upper section and the lower section. The jig body is selectively movable between an open position and a closed position. A first hook is affixed to a second end of the upper section. A connector is affixed to the first end of the lower section, wherein the connector is removably securable to a fishing line. In some embodiments, a notch is disposed along an interior surface of the lower section, wherein the notch is dimensioned to receive an interior edge of the upper section therein when the jig body is in the closed position.

Fishing lures
The disclosed fishing lure systems have a fishing lure, bead sleeve, and a stop that can be used in combination with a fishing line and hook. The fishing lure has a pliable body and a pre-formed hole. The bead sleeve can be fitted within the pre-formed hole with an interference fit because the pliable body expands to fit around the bead sleeve to hold it in place within the pre-formed hole. The stop is positioned on one side of the fishing lure and bead sleeve to prevent it from sliding down towards the hook or possibly over some portion of the hook. The stop can be positioned spaced apart from the hook on a fishing line so that the distance between the fishing lure and the hook remains at a desirable spacing while in use.

Fishing tackle and method of use thereof
Fishing tackle has a body with two ends, each end defining a respective groove. The fishing tackle also includes two fastening elements, each being movably connected to the body at a respective one of the ends. The first and second fastening elements are selectively movable between respective first and second positions with respect to the body. In their first positions, the fastening elements do not obstruct the grooves, thereby permitting a fishing line to be inserted into the grooves or removed from the grooves. In their second positions, the fastening elements obstruct the grooves, thereby retaining fishing line within the grooves.
