Sanitary spiral conveyor

A spiral conveyor is described. The spiral conveyor provides an open design. The open design creates and defines a sanitary design. The combination of a cantilever frame construction (with no side frames) and the edge/side driven belting allows for access and cleanability of the spiral conveyor.

CONVEYOR SPACER GUARD

A guard for a conveyor assembly, with the conveyor assembly having a pair of spaced apart side frames and at least a pair of adjacent conveyor zones, with each conveyor zone comprising a pair of rollers about which a conveyor belt is disposed with the rollers of the zones mounted between the side frames and a gap formed between the conveyor zones. The guard has an elongate lower portion configured to mount between the side frames in the gap, with the lower portion having a mounting receptacle configured to receive a connector for mounting the guard between the side frames. The guard also includes at least one elongate outwardly angled side extending upwards from the lower portion to a top surface, with the angled side configured to be disposed adjacent one of the rollers of one of the conveyor zones.

Described is a checkout station with an adjustable height conveyor belt, and a motorized height adjustor that is used to level and adjust the height of the conveyor belt. The motorized height adjustor includes an adjustable height leg and a motor drive. The motor drive uses a motor to rotate a foot sleeve of the adjustable height leg. Rotating the foot sleeve adjusts the height of the adjustable height leg. Adjusting the height of the adjustable height leg adjusts the height of the conveyor belt of the checkout station. The motorized height adjustor can be coupled to sensors to automatically adjust the height of the conveyor belt.
