Laboratory automation system with double motor traction device for conveyor belts
A laboratory automation system is described, comprising pairs of conveyor belts accommodating devices for conveying biological samples and actuated by a motorized traction device. Said motorized traction device includes a first and a second motor, each adapted to actuate both said pairs of belts a central control unit being adapted to control the simultaneous or alternating actuation of said motors.
Overhead conveying device having a securing element
An overhead conveying device includes a conveying device mounted on supporting framework. The supporting framework and the conveying device form a conveying corridor. At least one securing element can be arranged at an input point and/or output point of the supporting framework, and the securing element can be moved between a securing position and an opening position. The securing element functions in the securing position as fall protection and at least partially blocks the initial cross-section and/or terminal cross-section of the conveying corridor. In the opening position, the securing element releases the initial cross-section and/or terminal cross-section of the conveying corridor for the transport of components with the help of the conveying device.
CONVEYING DEVICE INCLUDING OUTER ROTOR MOTOR
A conveying device according to an embodiment of the disclosure may include a motor of an outer rotor type, a conveyor unit that receives rotational force from the motor and moves a transfer target inserted into the conveying device in a length direction of the conveying device, and a support unit that extends in the length direction of the conveying device and in which the motor and the conveyor unit are mounted. The conveyor unit may include a connecting member that surrounds the motor and is in contact with the motor to receive the rotational force, and a conveyor belt that is disposed to wrap the connecting member and moves the transfer target.
Conveyor belt monitor
The conveyor belt monitor includes sensors and motion detectors for monitoring the condition of the conveyor belt of a conveyor belt system. The monitor includes upper and lower sensors respectively positioned above and below the lower belt of the conveyor to transmit warning of belt damage or other problem(s) while allowing the conveyor to continue operation. An additional switch above the upper sensor detects extreme belt damage, and shuts down the conveyor if such damage or condition(s) is/are detected. A motion sensor may also be provided to detect rotation of the upper roller and to transmit a warning of material carried on the lower or return belt surface that causes the roller to rotate. The monitor thus automatically warns of an anomalous condition while allowing the conveyor to continue to operate, or shuts down the conveyor in the event of an extreme condition(s).
Sprocket shield assembly for feeder of agricultural vehicle
A feederhouse for an agricultural vehicle includes an assembled driveshaft having a shaft and at least one sprocket that is rotationally fixed to the shaft. A shield assembly is positioned adjacent the sprocket, wherein the shield assembly includes two components including a top component and a bottom component. The top component includes a first mating surface and a first wall. The bottom component includes a second mating surface and a second wall. When the two components are connected together by joining the first mating surface to the second mating surface, the two components form a first opening through which the shaft is positioned. A bearing component is configured to bear on both the first wall and the second wall for urging the first mating surface toward the second mating surface in order to limit the top component from separating from the bottom component.
