Adjustable halyard tensioner
An adjustable tensioner particularly suited for use in applying tension to a halyard line circuit on an outrigger is disclosed and features a length of hollow braided rope having a proximate end serving as a first anchor point for attachment to a boat gunwale; a distal end; a loop section positioned intermediate the proximate end and the distal end, and a braid-in-braid section positioned intermediate the loop section and the proximate end; the loop section serving as a second anchor point for attachment to the halyard line circuit; wherein the effective distance between the first and second anchor points is adjusted by reducing or enlarging the size of the loop section; and wherein when tension is applied to the first and second anchor points, the braid-in-braid section provides a self-induced friction amplification effect to prevent an increase in the distance between the first and second anchor points.
ROTATABLE MOUNTING ASSEMBLY
A mounting assembly for an outrigger. The mounting assembly includes a mounting body adapted to be received by a tube and pivotably couple to a mounting point. The mounting body includes a slotted opening adapted to receive a fastener to restrict axial movement of the mounting body relative to the tube and permit rotational movement of the tube relative to the mounting body.

Adjustable tension fishing line release apparatus
An offshore fishing apparatus aligns properly, is light weight, and is consistently adjustable by the user to their desired tension for smooth release of their fishing line when a fish strikes or when any force overcomes the applied tension placed on the fishing line release arm. The device further includes a proximal beveled entry and exit including a pivot ball with an aperture, through which a kite or connection line is run through. The pivot ball allows the device to pivot in the direction the fishing line moves. The device is advantageously light weight, in part due to lightweight materials used to construct the device without reducing the device's performance.

Quick drop halyard line roller guides for removable attachment to existing outriggers to allow the user to quickly drop the halyard rigging lines from the outriggers. Quick release roller line guides are provided for removable attachment to the existing eyelet-type circular outrigger line guides. Quick and installation and removal of outrigger halyard lines permits the lines to be safely stored away from harsh environmental conditions when not use thereby extending line life.

A system for providing the location of a planer board is provided. In an embodiment, the system includes one or more computer devices and one or more computer processors. The system includes (A) a planer board application (planer board app) embodied in instructions stored by the one or more computer devices. When the planer board app is executed by the one or more computer processors, the planer board app is configured to: (i) receive inputs from a GPS locator module. The planer board app is further configured to receive user inputs for (ii) a lure line length for a planer board and (iii) a boat line length to the planer board. (B) The planer board app generates a planer board track based on the inputs from (i)-(iii). (C) The planer board app also includes a user interface, such that the planer board app is further configured to display the planer board track on the user interface.

Fishing System and Method to Enhance the Fishing Experience
A fishing system includes a submersible fishing implement for being received in a body of water and configured for capturing one or more fish. An implement driver is configured to drive movement of the submersible fishing implement through the body of water. A data collection system includes one or more sensors for sensing one or more fishing parameters and transmitting a fishing parameter signal representative of the one or more fishing parameters. A controller is operatively connected to the data collection system to receive the fishing parameter signal and to determine based on the fishing parameter signal a selected fishing location. The controller is further configured to transmit a navigation signal to the implement driver operative to control the implement driver to drive movement of the submersible fishing implement toward the selected fishing location.
