Sidetracker
A sidetracker includes a body including a first fin and a second fin spaced apart from the first fin. The first and second fins are coupled to the body. The first and second fins are configured to control a vertical position of the body in water through which the body is moving. A channel is formed in the body. The channel includes a first groove and a second groove. The first and second grooves cross each other. A wing is positioned in the channel. The wing is detachably coupled to the body. The wing is configured to rotate between the first groove and the second groove. The wing is configured to control a lateral position of the body in water through which the body is moving.
DREDGE RIGGING DEVICE
An improved dredge rigging device for use in fishing to mimic a school of fish. The dredge rigging device is preferably formed from three rod members having a V-shaped central portion with two arms extending therefrom. The rod members are 17-4PH martensitic stainless steel and precipitation hardened to a max hardness of about 46 RD and an annealed hardness of about 32 RC. The central portions of each rod member are secured within a compressed lead junction member. The V-shaped central portions allowing the rod members to be equally spaced apart allowing an improved dredging device that is inexpensive to manufacture yet highly resistant to fatigue and corrosion. Each arm is available for securing artificial lures thereto with a conventional crimp.

Outrigger clamp
An outrigger clamp to couple together two or more nestable tubes. The clamp can include a guide for retaining filament. The guide can rotate about an axis based on the forces applied to the outrigger to better align the filament and guides, and therefore align the forces applied to the outrigger and filament. The retainer can be, for example, one or more rollers that help prevent the filament from becoming creased or kinked during use.

Remotely operable latch for a pulley-type endless halyard
A remotely operable latch for a pulley-type endless halyard has a traveller, a tubular hollow dock for receiving and latching onto the traveller, a fishing-line release clip conjoined to the traveller, proximal pulley tackle mounted to a boat, distal pulley tackle conjoined with the dock and mounted to an outrigger spar, and an elongated halyard. The halyard has a distal end connected to the traveller, and a proximal end threaded through the dock, around the distal pulley, and then again around the proximal pulley, and connected to the fishing-line release clip. The traveller has a sidewall formed with a heart-shaped groove and the dock has an inside sidewall provided with an tone arm elongated between a pivotal base and a stylus for tracing the groove in the traveller, wherein the traveller latches in the dock when the stylus is caught in the cleavage of the heart-shaped groove.

Watercraft automation and aquatic effort data utilization
A trolling device for a boat includes a trolling motor and a control mechanism. The control mechanism controls at least one of the speed and the direction of the trolling motor. The control mechanism is configured to receive control instructions from an electronic GPS mapping computer to cause the trolling motor to establish an anchor point near a dock to enable entry to the fishing boat or exit from the fishing boat.

Twist Lock Outrigger Mount and Security Fastener
An outrigger having an outrigger arm with a tubular portion having an insertion end and an inside diameter, having a boss directed radially inward, and a butt having a longitudinal axis and a base end dimensioned for being received into the tubular portion in an insertion direction, the butt having a collar spaced from the base end, and a substantially J-shaped slot opening out at the base end for receiving the boss, the J-shaped slot having an insertion segment extending from the base end to a transverse segment extending circumferentially to a return segment extending to the base end, the return segment having an end wall, the boss bearing against the end wall in a secured position of the butt in the tubular portion in which the collar is spaced apart from the insertion end for defining a gap with a gap distance between the collar and the insertion end, a spring disposed in the tube portion for applying spring force against the butt opposite the insertion direction and seating the end wall against the boss in a secured position, a locking ring being removably mounted on the butt in the gap for preventing an axially displacement of the butt in the insertion direction precluding a movement of the butt into a rotation position.
