A DEVICE FOR USE IN SEA FISHING
The invention provides an apparatus for the temporary storage of a length of a fishing line, the apparatus comprising:
a support plate 6;
a drum 4, about which a length of the fishing line can be wound, the drum 4 being non-rotatably mounted on the support plate and having a proximal end 4a and a distal end 4b wherein the drum 4 is secured to the support plate 6 at its proximal end 4a;
at least one retaining element 28, 30 for releasably holding a section of the fishing line; and a mounting arm pivotably 8 connected to the support plate 6.
TWIST CLIP AND METHOD
A twist clip and method for use wherein the twist clip includes a body having a rotating clamp head having at least one slot, a stationary clamp head having at least one slot, a core pin, the slots being arranged to retain an elongate object during use.
Fishing Dredge Boom
A dredge boom for towing a fishing dredge is described and includes an elongated beam having a multi-position ferrule and a series of attachment points to connect to support cables and one or more pulleys, the series of attachment points including at least a support line attachment point, a first pulley attachment point and a terminal end attachment point. A rod butt adapter may be removably connected to the elongated beam using the multi-position ferrule and is able to mount to a universal rod holder. A fishing dredge can then be attached to the dredge boom assembly using fishing line, the one or more pulleys and the attachment points.

Trolling down rigger
A fishing trolling down rigger has a body with left-side and right-side arm attachments, a lure-receiving tail, and arms extending from the left and right sides of the body descend towards weedless, snag-free weights so as to naturally orient the rig with the lure above the bottom of a body of water at a desired distance or height. In at least one embodiment, the arms may be repositioned to form a greater or lesser angle with the body in order to raise or lower the desired height from the bottom at which the lure is positioned at the end of the tail. In another configuration or embodiment, the rig provides for controlled-depth surface fishing.
