11764642 · 2023-09-19 · ·

A powertrain assembly comprises a motor assembly having a motor housing with a rotor assembly at least partially axially aligned with a stator and disposed within an interior portion of the motor housing. A motor shaft is coupled to the rotor assembly. The rotor assembly is configured to rotate within the interior portion of the motor housing. A gear system having a ring gear is disposed within the stator and at least partially axially aligned with the stator. The gear system further includes first and second gears. The first gear is configured to drive the second gear within the interior portion of the ring gear. An output shaft is operably coupled to the second gear and extending outwardly from the interior portion of the motor housing.

Fishing lure trolling spreader bar
11758893 · 2023-09-19 · ·

A trolling spreader bar is configured with a central body and a plurality of fishing lures as an assembly to mimic a small school of fish, wherein each lure can have a keel. The keel is angled to urge the lure assembly continually to one side or the other from what would be the normal straight line of travel of a trolling vessel. By attaching an angled keel directly to the lure/spreader bar one is able to easily set lines behind the vessel at varying angles and distances which greatly increase the width of the full trolling lure spread. The spreader bar can further be configured to have a counterweight directly attached to it to provide increased stability to the bar during trolling.

Mechanical planar board and method
11229195 · 2022-01-25 · ·

A mechanical planer board that is arranged for use on both the right and left sides of a towing boat and is further adapted to move from a boat side position to a boat rear position upon a fish strike. The planer board includes a body having a housing, a float, an internal assembly, and at least one line clip having a tow arm. The tow arm maintains the line clip in towing configuration until a fish strike pulls a trigger pin to release the tow arm thereby allowing it to swing and lock in a forward position. The board may further include an indicator device to alert the fisher of board location.

An improved dredge rigging device for use in fishing to mimic a school of fish. The dredge rigging device is preferably formed from three rod members having a V-shaped central portion with two arms extending therefrom. The rod members are 17-4PH martensitic stainless steel and precipitation hardened to a max hardness of about 46RD and an annealed hardness of about 32RC. The central portions of each rod member are secured within a compressed lead junction member. The V-shaped central portions allowing the rod members to be equally spaced apart allowing an improved dredging device that is inexpensive to manufacture yet highly resistant to fatigue and corrosion. Each arm is available for securing artificial lures thereto with a conventional crimp.

Hydrofoil fishing lure apparatus

Hydrofoil fishing lure apparatus for use with trolling techniques behind a boat. In one embodiment, the hydrofoil fishing lure apparatus includes an artificial lure having a body. A hydrofoil that includes a strut and a lifting surface, with the strut for the hydrofoil being attached to the body of the artificial lure is also included. In some variants, the artificial lure may be modeled after flying fish species. Wing retraction elements may be utilized on the hydrofoil to retract or expand the wings of the flying fish to provide for a more natural presentation. Other variants described herein include fishing lure platforms that include a hydrofoil that allow for the mounting of frozen, live, or other types of artificial baits on the hydrofoil itself.
