The present invention is directed to a buoyant fishing caddy that includes an outer housing that includes a wall part detachable from the outer housing, and a bait net storage compartment that includes the detachable wall part.

A preferred embodiment of the fishing caddy is generally rectangular and includes a buoyant upper compartment and a lower compartment. The lower compartment benefits use of the fishing caddy as carry-on luggage that can hold, for example, a telescoping or multipiece fishing rod when traveling to a fishing destination, and furthermore benefits use when fishing.

In another preferred embodiment, the bait net storage compartment is generally cylindrical and is encircled by a ring that includes generally arcuate side compartments.

A system for use with a container having a container lid. The system comprises a jacket further comprising insulated jacket sidewall surfaces shaped to surround one or more side surfaces of the container when the container is enclosed within the jacket, one or more attachment components affixed to an external surface of the one or more jacket sidewall surfaces, and a jacket lid for receiving therewithin the container lid, the jacket lid for affixing to the one more jacket sidewall surfaces to thereby close the container.

The proximal side of the first layer is releasably coupled axially along a length of the mid to the proximal side of the second layer. The first and second layers close flush to one another. The first layer and a second layer form a hollow compartment between them. The hollow compartment holds bait or scent. The hollow compartment can contain enough bait or scent to stay baited for at least 2 hours.

The device includes a housing for coupling to a bucket such that the housing covers the bucket. The housing defines an interior space. A pail is couplable to the housing wherein the pail extends into the interior space for holding bait. The pail is alternatively couplable to the housing in an inverted position wherein the pail extends upwardly relative to a top wall of the housing defining an elongated compartment with the interior space and an interior of the bucket for holding an elongated implement such as an ice fishing rod.

A multiple purpose ice fishing bucket lid device provides a seat, storage, and additional functionality in a lid for covering a bucket. The device includes a housing for coupling to a bucket such that the housing covers the bucket. The housing defines an interior space. A pail is couplable to the housing wherein the pail extends into the interior space for holding bait. The pail is alternatively couplable to the housing in an inverted position wherein the pail extends upwardly relative to a top wall of the housing defining an elongated compartment with the interior space and an interior of the bucket for holding an elongated implement such as an ice fishing rod.

In some embodiments, a method includes changing configurations of two attachable sleeves, where the different configurations result in different overlapping of openings in the attachable sleeves. The different overlapping of openings allows fishermen the flexibility to better control the dispensing of bait and/or chum by varying the size of the openings.

The present invention is a hoop net comprised of netting mounted to two semicircular tubular rods, forming a ring that maintains its shape and structural integrity. The two semicircular tubular rods are fashioned to connect seamlessly by a fastening means that allows the entire assembly to function as intended. The hoop net assembly includes four stabilizing cords positioned equidistant from each other along the ring, which cords converge at the center of the hoop net assembly and are connected to each other by a fastening means, then further connected to a single draw cord. The draw cord is used to cast the assembled hoop net into water to a desired depth and pulled back into the boat with live bait. Once the hoop net assembly has been used, the metal rods are easily disconnected to facilitate folding the hoop net in half for easy storage and portability.
