On board chumming system for a boat and boat having same
An on-board chumming system and vessel using same include a generally vertically oriented downtube that connects a feed portion at the top with a comminution chamber at the bottom. A water inlet at the top of the downtube facilitates the bait falling into the comminution chamber to be pulverized and mixed with water to create the chum, which flows out of the comminution chamber through an outlet that passes through a side of the vessel.
Oxygen generation device
An oxygen generation device having a compressed air supply device, air cooling coil, a fan, pneumatic valve system, a housing, at least one media insert, an on-off switch, a printed circuit board, and a touch screen. The pneumatic valve system includes an air inlet port, a first air outlet port connected to the inlet of the first media insert, a second air outlet port connected to the inlet of the second media insert. The air inlet port receives compressed air from the compressed air supply device and alternatingly provides the compressed air to one of the first media insert and the second media insert. The lower housing includes check valve ball moveable between the first position and the second position and alternatingly controlling a flow of compressed air through the first media insert and the second media insert.
System and method for maintaining the health of captive fish in a mobile environment
A system for maintaining the health of captive fish in a mobile environment, comprising a live well for containing fish in a fluid medium, a plurality of thermoelectric coolers affixed to the live well, and a thermometric rheostat for controlling a direct current applied to the thermoelectric coolers, and a method for maintaining a consistent temperature comprising the steps of setting an initial temperature, applying a current to thermoelectric coolers, reading a new temperature, and adjusting the current based at least in part on the new temperature reading.

HORIZONTAL BAIT TUBE
A system is provided that promotes ram ventilation for aquatic animals stored therein. The system includes a horizontally oriented container that maintains fluid flow in one predominant direction with a first end of the horizontally oriented container receiving a first volume of fluid and a second end expelling a second volume of fluid. The second end is provided at an opposite side of the horizontally oriented container than the first end. A slot is provided that extends along a lengthwise direction of the horizontally oriented container between the first and second ends. The slot is positioned along an upper portion of the horizontally oriented container. For example, if the horizontally oriented container is tube-shaped, the slot is provided at an uppermost point on the circumference of a horizontally oriented tube directly across from a point on the tube that contacts an underlying surface such a transom of the fishing vessel.

Method for constructing cage body of tapered cage assembled in rigid-flexible manner
A method for constructing a cage body of a tapered cage assembled in a rigid-flexible manner includes steps as follows. A cage body of a tapered aquaculture cage is assembled by combining a rigid-structure copper alloy stretched mesh and a flexible synthetic fiber mesh. Pipe rings mounted on the standard component of the synthetic fiber mesh are mated in a staggered manner with plugging rings on the standard component of the copper alloy stretched mesh, and high-performance synthetic fiber rope is rove through the pipe rings and the plugging rings; in this way, the connection is completed. The cage effectively improves the cage resilience under the ocean current condition, avoids mesh sheet deformation or corner breakage, enhances the water exchange capability in and out of the cage body of the gravity cage, and effectively improves the growth environment for the fishes farmed in the cage body.
Mountable Fishing Baitwell
An apparatus is a mountable fishing baitwell. The apparatus allows a user to easily access live bait and properly sustains live bait. The apparatus includes a support structure, a water reservoir, a mounting base, and an aeration unit. The support structure upholds the water reservoir and houses the aeration unit. The water reservoir contains the water and the live bait. The mounting base secures the apparatus onto the bow rail of a boat. The support structure further includes a structure body, a reservoir bed, and a storage compartment. The water reservoir further includes a receptacle and a hand-permeable cover. The hand-permeable cover detachably attaches about an opening of the receptacle, and thereby prevents the live bait from escaping and allows the receptacle to be refilled. The aeration unit distributes oxygen into the water within the receptacle which better sustains the live bait within the receptacle.
