SIGNALING FISHING FLOAT
There is provided a fishing float comprising a buoyant, elongated body having first and second ends, a means for attaching a fishing line to the second end of the elongated body, and a lamp module attached to the first end of the elongated body. The lamp module is comprised of an elongated hollow watertight casing having first and second ends, with the ends of the lamp module being translucent and different colors such that a solar powered lamp fitted into the hollow casing of the module body can slide from the first to the second end whenever the module is tilted from a horizontal position to a vertical position by a fish pulling on the attached fishing line.
Terminal control program, terminal apparatus, and reel information management system
A terminal control program according to the present disclosure causes a terminal apparatus to perform: receiving model information and version information that have been automatically transmitted from a fishing electric reel in response to a first request transmitted according to a user's operation; storing a reel control program of a latest version of the fishing electric reel of a model indicated by the model information; transmitting the reel control program of the latest version to the fishing electric reel, in a case where a version indicated by the received version information does not match the latest version; and changing a screen for setting or displaying reel information to the screen that corresponds to the reel control program of the latest version.
Digital Sports Fishing
Angling apparatus (20) includes an immersible sensing device (22, 50, 80, 90, 100), which is configured for attachment to a distal end of a fishing line (26) and contains one or more sensors (32, 34, 70, 73) and a wireless communication interface (62) coupled to transmit signals indicative of an output of the one or more sensors. In one embodiment, an antenna (38) has a first end connected to receive signals from the wireless communication interface, and which is configured to be attached collinearly to the fishing line so that while the sensing device is immersed below a surface of a body of water, a second end of the linear antenna, opposite the first end, protrudes above the surface in order to transmit the signals.
Remote control boat with fish finder
The remote control boat with fish finder is designed to give fishermen that are fishing from the bank a way to determine the depth of the water they are fishing, to locate fish within the water they are fishing, and to determine structures and features under the water where fish may be located. The remote control boat with fish finder incorporates a remote controlled boat with an integral fish finder, LED running lights, and an LED spot light. The remote control boat with fish finder comprises a boat, an RC system, a fish finder transponder, a PDA, and a battery.
Fishing information management system and processing method
A fishing information management system has a fishing rod to which a fishing reel with a spool capable of winding a fishing line is attached, and is configured to include a fishing line unwinding commencement detector that detects the commencement of the unwinding of the fishing line by the fishing reel, an operation information detector that detects the operation information of at least either of the fishing reel or the fishing rod, an operation information list creation portion that extracts the operation information each time when the unwinding of the fishing line commences and creates an operation information list that aggregates several operation information, a receiver that obtains fishing information from an external device, and a processor that associates the operation information list with the fishing information.
System and method for maintaining sonar imaging of a structure regardless of boat orientation
A sonar target locking system to position a sonar assembly to maintain the sonar array of the sonar assembly pointing at a position of a user-set (desired) target even when the watercraft is rotating or moving in various motions. The sonar target locking system includes electro-mechanical assembly that can be steered electrically to maintain the sonar array pointing at the position of the desired target. The system may be activated using at least one of a foot pedal, handheld remote control, or a display of a fish finder head unit. The system may use GPS and IMU inputs to generate control signals to steer the electro-mechanical assembly to maintain the sonar array pointing at the position of the desired target.
Fish finder system and method
A fish finder system for a vessel is provided with an interface to connect with a transducer configured to transmit an ultrasonic signal into a water body and receive a reflected echo signal, and an autopilot device configured to control a rudder being attached to the vessel. Further, the fish finder system is provided with processing circuitry communicatively coupled to the interface and configured to detect a position of a fishing rig, measure a vector from the vessel to the fishing rig, and generate a rudder control signal for the autopilot device to control the rudder based on the measured vector.
Video fishing system with electrically-conductive fishing line
An electrical transmission line cable suited for a variety of applications, including as a fishing line in a video fishing system. The electrical transmission line cable has a first conductor and a second conductor forming an electrical transmission line; a jacket containing the first conductor and the second conductor; and a transmission line primary dielectric element separating the first conductor and the second conductor, wherein the primary dielectric element is at least one of textile yarns, fiber yarns, or monofilaments. The electrical transmission line may be in a balanced configuration or an unbalanced configuration.
MARINE EQUIPMENT INVENTORY TOOL
A system and method for tracking marine equipment is provided. Generally, the system and method of the present disclosure are designed to generate indicia corresponding to the inventory level of marine equipment used for a particular marine activity. To facilitate the assignment of indicia reflecting the inventory level of marine equipment used for a marine activity, the system and method of the present disclosure uses a plurality of equipment profiles having a defined lower limit and quantity associated with each piece of marine equipment. The lower limit may be manually input or automatically generated. The quantity may be tracked by the system using equipment transmitters and equipment sensors. In a preferred embodiment, the indicia indicate whether the quantity of a piece of marine equipment has fallen below a certain specified level as defined by the user. Users may purchase new marine equipment from third-party retailers via the user interface.
Castable object system
A castable object includes: a structure including a first distal end and a second distal end; a fastener coupled to the first distal end, where the fastener is configured to couple to a fishing system; and a first fastening surface attached to at least the second distal end, where the castable object is configured to be cast by the fishing system onto a target, and where the first fastening surface is configured to removably attach to a second fastening surface of the target.
