An electrical transmission line cable suited for a variety of applications, including as a fishing line in a video fishing system. The electrical transmission line cable has a first conductor and a second conductor forming an electrical transmission line; a jacket containing the first conductor and the second conductor; and a transmission line primary dielectric element separating the first conductor and the second conductor, wherein the primary dielectric element is at least one of textile yarns, fiber yarns, or monofilaments. The electrical transmission line may be in a balanced configuration or an unbalanced configuration.

A marine vessel maneuvering apparatus performs maneuvering of a marine vessel by wireless communication, and includes an operator to move the marine vessel in an operating direction of the operator, a recorder to record location information of a place where fishing is performed using the marine vessel that is moved by operating the operator, and a controller connected to at least the recorder.

A fishing reel comprises: a spool designed to wind a fishing line by operation with an operating part; a first side plate having the operating part, the first side plate axially supporting the spool; a second side plate disposed opposite to the first side plate when viewed along an axis of the spool, the second side plate axially supporting the spool; an opposite side cover or a cover on an opposite side from the operating part, the opposite side cover covering the second side plate on a side opposed to the operating part; a control substrate disposed between the second side plate and the opposite side cover; and an electrical component electrically connected to the control substrate, the electrical component being disposed between the control substrate and the opposite side cover.

A reel suitable for bow fishing and the like provides a cowling covering a reel with a wide opening to reduce frictional restraint on high-speed paying out of the line with the flight of the arrow. An optional guide arm may be used to minimize line diversion and hence friction during line payout while absorbing forces when the line is retracted permitting use of a lighter cowling design without loss of strength. A real time fish movement and location guide system and method provides an output to an angler of a real time adjusted active fish depth range based upon a set of environmental conditions. In some embodiments, the input data is also used to provide outputs indicating weather fronts that will affect movement and location, and to provide lure recommendations and notifications that a change in lure is appropriate in view of changing conditions.

The present invention is a rattle reel for catching fish. The rattle reel has a wall bracket, a reel arm, and a reel. The wall bracket is a U-shaped component that attached the present invention to a wall. The reel arm is a post that connects the reel to the wall bracket. The wall bracket has a plurality of screw holes, a pivot brushing, a clamp, a wall-facing side, and an arm sleeve. The pivot brushing is a hinge that allows the reel arm to rotate. The reel arm has a battery housing, a power switch, and an alarm housing. The reel has a light, a rattle mechanism, a handle, a tension adjuster, and an alarm adjuster. The tension adjuster is an axle that controls the rotating speed of the reel. The wall bracket is fixed at the end of the reel arm and extends away from the wall bracket. The reel is placed at the opposite side of the wall bracket to ensure the structural object the present invention is attached to is not in the way of the reel.

A fishing reel includes a spool capable of winding a fishing line, a detector capable of detecting the rotation amount of the spool, a storage that records the rotation amount of the spool as a detection result, and a transmitter that transmits the detection result to the outside, and is configured to select the casting mode when the detection result of the rotation amount of the spool is equal to or greater than a first threshold, and to select the drop mode when the detection result of the rotation amount of the spool is less than the first threshold.

A rope releasing apparatus includes an actuator, a wireless receiver for receiving a wireless signal to control the actuator, and a rope securing mechanism mechanically coupled to the actuator. The rope securing mechanism secures a rope. The rope is attached to a fishing net. In response to receiving the wireless signal, the wireless receiver activates the actuator to cause the rope securing mechanism to release the rope.

Common practices in fishing makes it difficult for people to notice when a fish strikes. To address these and other problems associated with common practices in fishing, a fish alert tool can be configured to generate an alert when a fish strikes. The fish alert tool can include a holder for a fishing pole and a spike that is connected to the holder and supports the holder from the ground. The fish alert tool can also include an alarm that generates the alert when the fish strike is detected.

Automatic jigging machines for fishing purposes each feature a stationary base, and a bending beam load cell by that supports a fishing rod in cantilevered fashion from the base and serves as a bite sensor for detecting a hooked fish, and alerting the user via an alarm function. An electric motor driven in cyclically alternating directions causes automatic jigging of the fishing line, whether through motor-driven reel operation, or through motor-driven tilting of the fishing rod about a pivot point by a screw-based drive mechanism. Where a motorized reel on a removable fishing rod is used for jigging purposes, a manual-override switch is included to enable immediate and convenient manual takeover of the reeling in process by simple grabbing of the fishing rod handle.
