Refillable laminating film cartridge system and refill thereof
A dual roll laminating film cartridge refill for a reusable cartridge loadable in a laminating machine. The refill includes a first roll of continuous adhesive-coated translucent laminating film having a first axial end and a second axial end. The refill includes a second roll of continuous adhesive-coated translucent laminating film having a first axial end and a second axial end. A first connector couples the first axial ends of the first and second rolls at a predefined gap distance. A second connector is independent from and spaced from the first connector, the second connector coupling the second axial ends of the first and second rolls at the predefined gap distance. The first and second connectors are uniquely shaped and asymmetrical to provide a keyed interface to the reusable cartridge.
Method and Apparatus for Dispensing and Expanding Expandable Slit Sheet Material
A device for expanding and dispensing expandable slit sheet paper includes a pair of support members for a roll of expandable slit sheet paper. The roll of expandable slit sheet paper has an interior core member and a roll of expandable slit sheet paper wound on said interior core member. The interior core member has an axial length that is greater than the width of said slit sheet paper that is wound on said interior core member and has end regions that extend beyond the roll of expandable slit sheet paper. Pressure means is provided for pressing a first end region against its core support member and applying a frictional rotation resistance to the core member end region. The roll of expandable slit sheet paper is mounted on the device by positioning one end region under the pressure means and in a support relationship with its core support member while the roll of expandable slit sheet paper is inclined with respect to the device. The other end region is then moved into its supported position with its core support member. An adjustable downward pressure is exerted on the paper core end region and causing the paper core end region to be pressed against its support member as the paper is pulled. The downward pressure creates the friction required to enable the unexpanded slit sheet to be unwind and fed while simultaneously expanding.
PAPER ROLL CARRYING DEVICE
A paper roll carrying device is equipped with movable-type paper clamping arms for clamping paper rolls with different widths. The paper roll carrying device includes two paper clamping arms and two supporting mechanisms. The supporting mechanisms are respectively installed on the corresponding paper clamping arms. Each supporting mechanism includes a first support member, a second support member and a third support member. The supporting mechanism is specially designed to have the take-out slant surfaces on the supporting members. The supporting mechanism can be used to support paper cores with different diameters. When the user intends to remove the paper roll, it is not necessary to release the paper clamping arms.
Paper roll carrying device
A paper roll carrying device is equipped with movable-type paper clamping arms for clamping paper rolls with different widths. The paper roll carrying device includes two paper clamping arms and two supporting mechanisms. The supporting mechanisms are respectively installed on the corresponding paper clamping arms. Each supporting mechanism includes a first support member, a second support member and a third support member. The supporting mechanism is specially designed to have the take-out slant surfaces on the supporting members. The supporting mechanism can be used to support paper cores with different diameters. When the user intends to remove the paper roll, it is not necessary to release the paper clamping arms.
Sheet supply device, recording device, and cart
A sheet supply device that supplies a sheet from a roll, includes: a first roll support portion which rotatably supports the roll on one end side in a width direction of the roll; a second roll support portion which rotatably supports the roll on the other end side of the roll by opposing the first roll support portion; and a guide portion which extends in the width direction and movably supports the second roll support portion in the width direction; wherein below a first space in which the roll between the first roll support portion and the second roll support portion is installed, a second space into which a cart which transports the roll enters is formed.
METHOD FOR UNWINDING AND SPLICING REELS OF ARTICLES MADE OF FLEXIBLE MATERIAL, AND MODULE FOR IMPLEMENTING THE METHOD
A method, and a module (1) for its implementation, is provided for unwinding and splicing reels (2) of flexible material articles. The method includes unwinding a full reel (2) from an unwinding station (4), the reel being positioned on a rotating assembly (3); and, during the unwinding of the reel, positioning a new full reel (2) from a reloading station (5) onto the rotating assembly (3). When the unwound reel is empty, the method includes rotating the rotating assembly (3) to move the empty reel to the reloading station (5) and, simultaneously, the full reel to the unwinding station (4) The method includes splicing the initial end of the article from the full reel with the final end of the article from the empty reel, and unwind the full reel from the unwinding station (4); and From the reloading station (5), removing the empty reel and position a new full reel. The process from step C) may be repeated as many times as necessary.
Base paper roll supply device, base paper roll supply method, and device for manufacturing cardboard sheet
A base paper roll supply device includes: a first stand rotatably supporting a rear-liner base paper roll and a rear-liner replacement base paper roll; a second stand rotatably supporting a core base paper roll and a core replacement base paper roll; and a third stand rotatably supporting a front-liner base paper roll and a front-liner replacement base paper roll. The first stand, the second stand, and the third stand are arranged in order along a supply direction in which the rear liner, the core, and the front liner are supplied. At the first stand, the rear-liner replacement base paper roll is arranged at an upstream side in the supply direction with respect to the rear-liner base paper roll, and at the third stand, the front-liner replacement base paper roll is arranged at a downstream side in the supply direction with respect to the front-liner base paper roll.
Reel support assembly for a web material processing machine and hotfoil stamping machine
A reel support assembly (14) for a web material processing machine is described. The reel support assembly (14) comprises a support frame (16) and at least a first support arm unit (34a) having at least one holding stub (40) for mounting a reel (12) on the first support arm unit (34a). Furthermore, the reel support assembly (14) comprises an elevator unit (24) having a support element (26) on which a reel (12) may be placed. The support element (26) is supported on the support frame (16) in a vertically movable manner. Additionally, a hotfoil stamping machine (10) is presented which comprises such a reel support assembly (14). The reel support assembly (14) is arranged at an upstream end of the hotfoil stamping machine (10) with respect to a web travelling direction.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DISPENSING AND EXPANDING EXPANDABLE SLIT SHEET MATERIAL
According to some embodiments, a system for dispensing and manually expanding expandable slit sheet material is provided that includes: a roll of expandable slit sheet material, the roll of expandable slit sheet material being wound around a tubular core, a frame having a first support wall, a second support wall, and at least one connecting member extending between the first support wall and the second support wall, the first support wall having a first core support fixedly attached thereto that extends inwardly on an interior side of the first support wall, the first core support having a curved support surface that is configured to be received within a first open end of the core, the second support wall having a second core support fixedly attached thereto that extends inwardly on an interior side of the second support wall, the first core support having a curved support surface that is configured to be received within a first open end of the core, the first support wall having a tensioner including a) a handle member, b) a pressure member having a curved pressure surface configured to be received within the first open end of the core proximate the first core support, and c) a spring positioned to apply pressure against the pressure member upon movement of the handle, and wherein at least one of the first core support and the second core support are movable to enable the roll of expandable slit sheet material wound around the tubular core to be lowered upon the frame and the first core support and the second core support to be received within the core.
SUPPLY ROLL STAND WITH PAYOUT AND ROLL CHANGING
A supply roll stand for loading first and second supply rolls each including a core and dispensing material therefrom. The supply roll stand broadly comprises a frame, a lift support, an unwind assembly, and a transfer support. The lift support receives the first supply roll and raises the first supply roll. The unwind assembly unwinds the first supply roll as the lift support raises the first supply roll. The transfer support receives the first supply roll so that the first supply roll is transferred from the lift support. The lift support receives the second supply roll after the first supply roll is transferred to the transfer support. The transfer support dispatches the core of the first supply roll when the first supply roll is depleted of material. The unwind assembly unwinds the second supply roll when the first supply roll is depleted of material.
