Manufacturing machine (9) and method for manufacturing a cylindrical electrochemical cell (2) consisting of a spiral winding of a composite material (8) comprising at least two conductor bands (4, 6) and at least two separator bands (5, 7) overlapping one another. They are provided: a plurality of winding heads (13), each of which supports a holding device (14) which is configured to grab an end of the composite material (8) and to rotate on itself around a first rotation axis (15) so as to obtain a spiral winding of the composite material (8); a drum (11) which supports the winding heads (13) and is rotatably mounted to rotate with a continuous law of motion about a second rotation axis (12) so as to move the winding heads (13) along a processing path (P2); a feeding unit (10) configured to feed the composite material (8) to the winding heads (13); and a cutting device (28) which is configured to cut the composite material (8) and thereby create a new free end of the composite material (8) while the composite material (8) is still being wound by a first winding head (13). A second winding head (13), which follows the first winding head (13) along the processing path (P2), is configured to grab the new free end of the composite material (8) and start the winding of the composite material (8) while first winding head (13) is still completing the winding of its own composite material (8).
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CUTTING A MATERIAL WEB
The invention relates to an apparatus and method for cutting a material web in a papermaking machine, comprising a cutting device, an upper holding device and an upper positioning device, the cutting device being fixed above the upper positioning device on the upper holding device such that it can be moved in the cross-machine direction, the apparatus additionally having an air guide box and the air guide box being fixed above the material web, likewise on the upper holding device. Furthermore, the apparatus has a cutting table fixed to a lower holding device via a first and/or a second lower positioning device, the cutting table being movable substantially vertically with respect to the material web via the first lower positioning device and/or movable in the cross-machine direction via the second lower positioning device.
PAPER WINDER AND PAPER WINDING METHOD
A paper winder includes a first winding core that is provided in a first arm turning centering on a rotating shaft and on which the paper should be wound, a first motor that drives the first winding core, a second winding core that is provided in a second arm turning centering on the rotating shaft and on which the paper should be wound next to the first winding core, and a controller that performs rotation control for the first motor and a second motor. In the rotation control, after, according to the turning of the second arm, completion of the winding of the paper by the first winding core and after a position of the second winding core has reached a position where the paper should be wound, during an operation of a traverse cutter that cuts the paper near the second winding core, when a torque value of the second motor is equal to or larger than a torque reference value, the controller switches a control mode of the second motor from speed control to torque control and perform tension correction control for adjusting the torque value of the second motor such that tension of the paper falls within a target range.
