Film wrinkle removing roller
The present invention relates to a film wrinkle removing roller in which pattern rolls coated with rubber are positioned at both ends of a cylindrical roll made of Teflon, and a porous film comes into contact with the roll and the pattern rolls, such that the film may be prevented from wrinkling and a surface of the film may be prevented from being abraded due to friction between the film and surfaces of the rolls.

Segment roller
A segment roller (1) has a roller body (2), which is mounted rotatably about an axis (3). To this end, the roller body (2) has on the outside grooves (9), in which tongues (8) of profiles (7) engage. These profiles (7) grip the material web (5) directly or indirectly. The printing unit is configured to perform printing on the conveyed printing medium. The rotation control unit is configured to control the winding unit to rotate in a winding direction at a predetermined timing after the conveying unit has started to convey the printing medium intermittently, and then cause the winding unit to rotate in a reverse direction opposite to the winding direction.

A contact roller according to one embodiment includes a cylindrical rubber roll main body, two spiral groove groups provided in a surface of the rubber roll main body, spiral rubber layers which is provided in the groove groups and hardness of which is lower than the rubber roll main body, and a surface rubber layer which covers a surface of the rubber roll main body and hardness of which is lower than that of the rubber roll main body. Nip pressure of the surface rubber layer corresponding to the rubber roll main body is higher than that of the surface rubber layer corresponding to the spiral rubber layers.

The present disclosure concerns a web material feed assembly for a web material dispenser comprising a housing, the web material feed assembly comprising first and second rollers rotatable relative to the housing of the dispenser about first and second parallel axes. The first roller is provided with friction rings forming a nip between the first and second rollers for feeding the web material therethrough, at least one of the friction rings comprising a recessed surface forming an anti-wrinkling space between the first and second rollers. The disclosure also concerns a web material dispenser with such a web material feed assembly and a method for preventing wrinkles in a web material dispensed by a web material dispenser with such a web material feed assembly.
System and method for controlling curl in multi-layer webs
A system and method for controlling curl in multi-layer webs. The method can include providing a coated web, curing the coating to form a multi-layer web, and stretching the web during curing of the coating. Some coatings shrink at least partially when cured such that curing the coating induces a strain in the multi-layer web. Stretching the web occurs during curing to induce an opposing strain that at least partially counteracts the strain induced by curing to form a multi-layer web having a desired curvature. The system can include a curing section configured to cure the coating, and can further include a web stretching section, which can be located proximate the curing section and can be substantially coincident with the curing section, such that the web is stretched while the coating is cured.
