SHEET PROCESSING MACHINE
A sheet processing machine comprises a receiving area (38) for collecting a sheet pile and a device (36) for determining the height of the sheet pile. The device (36) comprises a manually displaceable first sensor element arranged at a first side (48) of the receiving area (38), and an automatically displaceable second sensor element (50) arranged at an opposite side (52) of the receiving area (38) such that the first and second sensor elements (50) are arranged opposite each other along a width direction of the receiving area (38). The first sensor element and the second sensor element (50) are displaceable along a length direction of the sheet receiving area (38), wherein the first sensor element is one of a light emitting source and a light receiving sensor (56) and the second sensor element (50) is the other one of a light emitting source and a light receiving sensor (56). The light emitting source and the light receiving sensor (56) form a light barrier (58) along the width direction when facing each other.
Printing apparatus, inspection apparatus, and method of controlling the inspection apparatus in which a fixing unit fixes a relative position between a detection surface of a reading unit and a print medium
A printing apparatus includes a reading unit, having a detection surface, that reads an image on a print medium, and a fixing unit that fixes a relative position between the detection surface and the print medium in one of a first state, in which the detection surface is in contact with the print medium, and a second state, in which the detection surface is not in contact with the print medium. A control unit stops conveyance and fixes the relative position between the detection surface and the print medium to the first state, using the fixing unit, in a case in which the reading unit reads the image, and changes the relative position between the detection surface and the print medium from the first state to the second state, using the fixing unit, and resumes conveyance after image reading by the reading unit is complete.
DELIVERY DEVICE AND METHOD FOR OPERATING A DELIVERY DEVICE
Please add the Abstract of the Disclosure, as set forth on the separate accompanying sheet. This Abstract of the Disclosure is essentially the same, in content, as the Abstract which is a part of the published PCT application, WO 2017/202762A1. No new matter is being presented by the addition of this Abstract of the Disclosure.
TRANSPORTATION DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A transportation device includes a transportation mechanism that, in a state in which a front end portion of a sheet is gripped, transports the sheet, a first guide that is arranged along a transportation path where the sheet is transported by the transportation mechanism, and that contacts a non-image surface of the sheet, a blowing device that presses the sheet that is being transported by the transportation mechanism against the first guide, and an attraction transportation portion that is arranged on a downstream side in a transportation direction of the sheet with respect to the first guide, that attracts the non-image surface of the sheet that is being transported in a state in which the sheet is pressed against the first guide, and that transports with the transportation mechanism the sheet in a state in which the non-image surface is attracted.
GRIPPER CARRIAGE. SHEET-PROCESSING MACHINE COMPRISING A GRIPPER CARRIAGE AND A RADIATION DRYER, AND METHOD FOR TRANSPORTING SHEETS
A gripper carriage transports a sheet in a sheet transport direction along a sheet transport path. The gripper carriage has a wall and a reflector. The reflector is associated with a flank of the wall which is trailing, in relation to the sheet transport direction.
Delivery systems and methods for setting the delivery systems
A delivery system is used for delivering printed sheets which can be fed in a region of an inlet side of a delivery device. The delivery device includes at least one first discharge station and one second discharge station which is mounted downstream of the first discharge station, which is upstream in the transport path. The delivery stations are associated respectively with a format or transport-relevant device which can be controlled by a drive including a control element for adapting or correcting the guiding and delivery of the sheets in the relevant discharge station. At a delivery device level upstream of a lateral inlet in a stacking space of the upstream second discharge station, at least one operator interface, with at least one actuating device is provided. The at least one actuating device can be permanently connected to a signal or can be activated by an additional actuating device, with the control element of the at least one format- or transport-relevant device of the first discharge station and which allows or which can allow, during actuation, the control element of the system of the first discharge station which can vary with regard to the format- or transport-relevant size format, to be controlled.
Ink jet printing apparatus and color conversion processing device
There are provided an ink jet printing apparatus and a color conversion processing device that can prevent the generation of offset and blocking and can stably jet ink. A first LUT in which a total amount of ink after conversion is large overall and a second LUT in which a total amount of ink after conversion is small overall are prepared as a look-up table (LUT) that is used in color conversion processing. A LUT to be used is selected according to the number of printed mediums. The first LUT is selected in a case in which the number of printed mediums is smaller than a threshold value, and the second LUT is selected in a case in which the number of printed mediums is equal to or larger than a threshold value.
Cassette and printing apparatus
A cassette comprises a storage portion configured to include a loading surface on which a sheet is loaded, a sheet guide configured to pivot with respect to a pivot central axis that is parallel to the loading surface, a pivot support shaft extending on two sides of the sheet guide along the pivot central axis, in the sheet guide, and a bearing portion configured to pivotably support the pivot support shaft, an insertion portion formed at a portion of the pivot support shaft, an insertion groove formed from the loading surface toward the bearing portion, and a flexible pressing portion disposed outside the insertion groove, and configured to press a leading end portion of the pivot support shaft.
PRINTING APPARATUS, INSPECTION APPARATUS, AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING THE SAME
In a printing apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention, it is possible to inspect an image of a printed product where an image is printed accurately without scratching a print medium as the printed product. In the printing apparatus, first, a reading unit reads the image on the print medium conveyed by a conveyance unit, and a fixing unit fixes the print medium to a reading area by the reading unit. Then, control is performed so as to stop conveyance by the conveyance unit and fix the print medium by the fixing unit at the time of image reading, and release fixing of the print medium by the fixing unit and resume conveyance by the conveyance unit if the image reading is complete.
Transport device and image forming apparatus
A transport device includes: a rotating member that rotates; a circulating member that is loop-shaped and wrapped around the rotating member, the circulating member being circulated by rotation of the rotating member; and a pair of pinching members attached to an attachment portion of the circulating member and circulated together with the circulating member, the pair of pinching members changing from a separated state, in which the pair of pinching members are separated from each other, to a closely positioned state to pinch a transport object that has entered a space between the pair of pinching members in the separated state. The attachment portion of the circulating member is in contact with the rotating member when the transport object starts to enter the space between the pair of pinching members in the separated state.
