Workpiece storage method
A first leading end plate and a first rear end plate are provided at an upper part of a rotary table. When a conductor piece contacts the first leading end plate, a first contact detection sensor detects a contact of the conductor piece, and transmits a contact detection signal to a storage control unit. Upon receiving the contact detection signal, the storage control unit drives an air supply device for a predetermined period to spray air toward the conductor piece from a first air nozzle. The air spray brings the conductor piece into a tilted state with the rear end thereof moved downward. Even when the conductor piece contacts the first leading end plate and rebounds, the rear end thereof contacts an inner wall surface of the first rear end plate, thereby preventing the rear end of the conductor piece from getting over the first rear end plate.
Sheet stacking device, counter-ejector, and carton former
The present invention provides a sheet stacking device, a counter-ejector, and a carton former and is provided with: a hopper unit that stacks cardboard boxes; feed rollers that feed a cardboard box to the hopper unit; a first blower device that blows air from above the hopper unit toward the cardboard box fed by the feed rollers; and a second blower device that blows air between the cardboard box stacked in the hopper unit and the cardboard box fed by the feed roller.
SHEET CONVEYANCE DEVICE, IMAGE READING DEVICE, AND IMAGE FORMING DEVICE
The present invention aims at avoiding a stacking failure of sheets on a discharge tray. A conveyance mechanism (51) conveys a sheet along a conveyance path (500), and further discharges the sheet from a discharge port (500a) of the conveyance path (500). A discharge tray (56) is disposed below the discharge port (500a) on a downstream side of a discharge direction of the sheet, and receives the sheet discharged from the discharge port (500a). A blower (58) is disposed above the discharge tray (56) or above the discharge port (500a), and blows air downwardly onto the sheet on the discharge tray (56).
SHEET POSTPROCESSING DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING SYSTEM THEREWITH
A sheet postprocessing device includes a sheet conveying passage, a sheet tray, an inlet guide, a processing device, and a blowing device. Though the sheet conveying passage, a sheet on which an image has been formed is conveyed. The sheet tray is arranged downstream of the sheet conveying passage and has sheets stacked on it. The inlet guide is arranged at the downstream end of the sheet conveying passage and guides a sheet to the sheet tray. The processing device performs predetermined processing on a sheet stacked on the sheet tray. The blowing device blows air, from the upstream side in the sheet conveying direction, between the top face of the top-most sheet in the sheets stacked on the sheet tray and the bottom face of the subsequent sheet sent from the inlet guide into the sheet tray.
Sheet conveying device and image forming system incorporating the sheet conveying device
A sheet conveying device includes a sheet stacker, an air blower, and a guide. The sheet stacker stacks sheets. The air blower blows air to the sheets. The guide faces an uppermost sheet on the sheet stacker. A set height of a contact portion of the guide to contact the uppermost sheet is changeable.
SHEET STACKING DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS INCORPORATING THE SHEET STACKING DEVICE
A sheet stacking device includes a stacker, a detector, a blower, and a moving device. A sheet is stacked on the stacker. The detector detects a stacking amount of the sheet on the stacker. The blower blows air to the sheet stacked on the stacker. The moving device moves the blower with respect to the stacker based on the stacking amount of the sheet detected by the detector.
POST-PROCESSING APPARATUS
The present application discloses a post-processing apparatus including a second tray which receives a sheet stack ejected from a first tray, a pushing mechanism including a pushing portion which pushes the sheet stack against the second tray, a motion detector which detects a motion of the pushing mechanism, and a controller including an ejection controller which controls an ejector. When the ejector ejects the sheet stack, the pushing mechanism moves the pushing portion in a first direction away from the second tray. When the ejector finishes ejection of the sheet stack, the pushing mechanism moves the pushing portion in a second direction which is opposite to the first direction. Unless the motion detector detects the motion of the pushing mechanism moving the pushing portion in the first direction when the ejector ejects the sheet stack, the ejection controller executes interruption control of stopping the ejection of the sheet stack.

Sheet stacking apparatus
A sheet stacking apparatus, including: a conveyance unit configured to convey a sheet; a stacking unit on which a sheet conveyed by the conveyance unit is stacked, the stacking unit inclined downward in a conveyance direction in which the conveyance unit conveys a sheet and including a first region and a second region located downstream of the first region in the conveyance direction; a guide portion configured to guide a sheet conveyed by the conveyance unit over a sheet placed on the second region; and a pressing portion configured to press a sheet placed on the second region.
Sheet stacking apparatus and image forming apparatus
A sheet stacking apparatus includes a discharging portion including a nip portion nipping and conveying a sheet, a stacking portion on which the sheet discharged by the discharging portion is stacked, an air blowing unit configured to blow air toward a lower face of the sheet being discharged by the discharging portion, and an air volume control portion configured to control the air blowing unit such that a volume of the air blown by the air blowing unit is switched from a first air volume to a second air volume which is smaller than the first air volume while the nip portion of the discharging portion is nipping and conveying the sheet to set the volume of the air to the second air volume in a case where a trailing end of the sheet discharged by the discharging portion passes through the nip portion.
