SHEET STACKER AND IMAGE FORMING SYSTEM
A sheet stacker includes a sheet stacking portion, a pair of sheet restrictors, a sheet feeder, and a position detector. A bundle of sheets is stacked on the sheet stacking portion in a stacking direction, and the sheet stacking portion moves in the stacking direction. The pair of sheet restrictors move in a width direction to regulate a position of the bundle of sheets in the width direction. The sheet feeder feeds a top sheet of the bundle of sheets at a sheet feeding position in a sheet feeding direction. The sheet feeding position is disposed at a top of the bundle of sheets in the stacking direction. The position detector is disposed between the pair of sheet restrictors in the width direction and above the sheet feeding position in the stacking direction. The position detector detects a position of the pair of sheet restrictors in the width direction.
Post-processing apparatus
A post-processing apparatus includes: a processing unit configured to pull in a recording medium transported from an upstream apparatus and perform processing on the recording medium; a discharge unit to which the recording medium processed by the processing unit is discharged; and a lifting drive device configured to, in a case where a folded recording medium is pulled into the processing unit, move the discharge unit downward such that a height of the discharge unit is lower than a height of the discharge unit in a case where an unfolded recording medium is pulled into the processing unit.
Sheet stacker and image forming apparatus incorporating the sheet stacker
A sheet stacker includes a sheet stacking member, a biasing force applier, an angle setter, and a regulator. The sheet stacking member has an upstream portion in a sheet conveyance direction. The upstream portion is movable in a vertical direction. The biasing force applier is configured to apply a biasing force to bias the sheet stacking member upward. The angle setter is configured to set an angle of the sheet stacking member in the sheet conveyance direction, relative to a sheet conveying portion, between a first angle and a second angle. The regulator is configured to regulate movement of the sheet stacking member in a case in which the upstream portion of the sheet stacking member is located closer to the sheet conveying portion at either the first angle or the second angle.
Post-processing device and printing system
A post-processing device includes an intermediate tray on which a medium transported in a transport direction is placed, a discharge port through which the medium post-processed on the intermediate tray is discharged, a discharge tray which is disposed in a gravity direction with respect to the discharge port and on which the medium discharged from the discharge port is placed, and an elevating mechanism which elevates the discharge tray, in which the elevating mechanism can move the discharge tray to a first normal position and a first standby position positioned in a direction opposite to the gravity direction with respect to the first normal position, and moves the discharge tray to the first normal position or the first standby position according to an amount of ink before the medium comes in contact with the discharge tray or the medium previously placed on the discharge tray.
DELIVERY ACCUMULATING APPARATUS
According to one embodiment, a delivery accumulating apparatus includes a collection base which is capable of accumulating a plurality of deliveries to be sequentially overlapped in a standing state in an accumulating direction on a surface thereof; an accumulating paddle which is capable of supporting a plurality of the deliveries accumulated on the collection base from an opposite direction of the accumulating direction, the accumulation paddle being arranged from above the collection base so that evacuation is possible; and an accommodation box which is arranged below the collection base, and is capable of accommodating a plurality of the deliveries.
Sheet discharge device, image forming device, and sheet discharge method
A sheet discharge device includes: at least one processor; a conveyance unit configured to convey a sheet along a conveyance path; a discharge unit to which the sheet is discharged; a storage unit that is provided in a middle of the conveyance path and temporarily stores the sheet; an alignment unit provided in the discharge unit and configured to align the sheet in a width direction intersecting a convey direction of the sheet, in which the processor is configured to change a method of aligning the sheets by the alignment unit between a case where storage control for storing the sheets in the storage unit is performed and a case where the storage control is not performed.
SHEET DISCHARGING APPARATUS, SHEET FEEDING APPARATUS AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
The present disclosure provides an apparatus to support a sheet and configured to stably detect a presence of the sheet with a simple arrangement, and an image forming apparatus including such apparatus. A sheet discharging apparatus includes an apparatus body, a discharge member provided in the apparatus body and configured to discharge a sheet, a movable tray movable with respect to the apparatus body and including a sheet supporting surface configured to support the sheet discharged by the discharge member, a movable member supported by the movable tray and configured to move by being pressed by the sheet supported on the sheet supporting surface, and a detecting portion provided in the apparatus body and configured to detect a presence of the sheet supported on the sheet supporting surface in response to a position of the movable member.
Sheet processing device and image forming system incorporating the sheet processing device
A sheet processing device includes a first conveyance passage, a first conveyor, a second conveyor, a folder, a second conveyance passage, and circuitry. The circuitry is configured to (1) cause the first conveyor and the second conveyor to convey the sheet nipping the sheet to warp the sheet between the first conveyor and the second conveyor, (2) guide the warped sheet to form a first fold on the sheet by the folder and circulate the sheet to the first conveyance passage, (3) cause the first conveyor and the second conveyor to convey the sheet while nipping the sheet again to warp the sheet between the first conveyor and the second conveyor, (4) guide the warped sheet to form a second fold on the sheet by the folder, and (5) cause the second conveyor to convey the sheet with the first fold and the second fold.
SHEET FEEDING DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
