SHEET PROCESSING SYSTEM AND CONTROL METHOD
20180201463 · 2018-07-19 ·

A sheet processing system according to an embodiment includes a tray that supports a sheet on opposite sides of the sheet orthogonal to a conveyance direction of the sheet. The tray includes a first adjustable support and second adjustable support positioned opposite the first adjustable support in the direction orthogonal to the conveyance direction of the sheet. A skew sensor detects a skew angle of the sheet conveyed to the tray. A corner sensor detects positions of each corner on a front end in the downstream direction of the sheet conveyed to the tray. A controller controls movement of the first and second adjustable supports based on the detected skew angle and the detected positions of each corner on the front end of the sheet conveyed to the tray so that the sheet is conveyed to the tray without jamming.

SHEET POST-PROCESSING DEVICE

There is provided a sheet post-processing device that has a first tray, outlet rollers, and a control section. The first tray holds sheets for post-processing with respect to the sheets supplied from an image forming device. The outlet rollers discharge the sheet to the first tray. The control section controls a rotational speed of the outlet rollers to be decelerated after a leading end portion of the sheet passes through the outlet rollers and before the leading end portion of the sheet comes into contact with the first tray.

Sheet processing apparatus

In accordance with an embodiment, a sheet processing apparatus comprises a processing tray, a longitudinal alignment mechanism, a horizontal alignment mechanism and an interlocking mechanism. The processing tray can stack a sheet. The longitudinal alignment mechanism includes a rotatable paddle. The longitudinal alignment mechanism can align the sheets stacked on the processing tray in a sheet conveyance direction. The horizontal alignment mechanism includes a horizontal alignment plate movable in a sheet width direction orthogonal to the sheet conveyance direction. The horizontal alignment mechanism can align the sheets placed on the processing tray in the sheet width direction. The interlocking mechanism interlocks the paddle in the sheet width direction in synchronization with the movement of the horizontal alignment plate in the sheet width direction.

Sheet post-processing apparatus and image forming system

According to one embodiment, a sheet post-processing apparatus includes: a standby unit configured to put a sheet on standby, the standby unit including a tray member on which the sheet is placed; a corrugation forming unit configured to form a corrugation in a direction orthogonal to a conveying direction on the sheet in the standby unit, the corrugation forming unit integrally provided with the tray member; and a processing unit disposed below the standby unit and configured to process the sheet supplied from the standby unit, wherein the corrugation forming unit includes: a projecting roller projecting upward from a conveyance reference plane in the standby unit; and a housing unit configured as a part of the tray member to house the projecting roller below the conveyance reference plane.

RECORDING MATERIAL PROCESSING APPARATUS INCLUDING ALIGNMENT UNIT FOR ALIGNING RECORDING MATERIALS AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS

A sheet processing device includes a standby tray, a sheet post-processing unit, a first pressing member, a second pressing member, and a control unit. The control unit is configured to control the first pressing member to press a first sheet conveyed into the standby tray at a first location, cause the first sheet to be conveyed upstream to a first position, control the second pressing member to press the first sheet at a second location, cause a second sheet to be conveyed on top of the first sheet while the first sheet is no longer pressed by the first pressing member but is still pressed by the second pressing member, press the second sheet at the first location, and cause the first sheet to be conveyed upstream to a second position that is offset from the first position.

Sheet processing apparatus

According to an embodiment, a sheet processing apparatus includes a first tray, a second tray, and a pressing member. The pressing member includes a turning shaft, the turning shaft being located on the downstream side of a transport direction of the sheet to the first tray, relative to an end of the upstream side of the sheet supported in the first tray, and when the sheet is moved from the first tray toward the second tray, rotates about the turning shaft. The pressing member rotates about the turning shaft, to press the sheet toward the second tray at a position on the upstream side relative to the turning shaft.

Sheet conveying apparatus and image forming system including the same

A sheet conveying apparatus, including: a support portion configured to support a second sheet different from a first sheet among a plurality of sheets when the first sheet located undermost among the plurality of sheets conveyed by a conveyance portion is placeable on a placement portion; and a restriction unit configured to bring the second sheet into a first state in order to restrict downward movement of the second sheet at a restriction position located downstream of a support position at which the support portion supports the second sheet when the first sheet is placeable on the placement portion, and to bring the second sheet into a second state in order to remove or reduce a restriction force for restricting the downward movement of the second sheet to less than a restriction force in the first state after bringing the second sheet into the first state at the restriction position.

PAPER FEED SYSTEM AND METHOD

A pharmaceutical filling system for a high volume pharmacy is described. The system can include a paper feed device and method. The system may include a paper collator with at one selectively openable shelf. A control device may monitor the capacity of the selectively openable shelf, and instruct a printer to hold printing additional print jobs. The selectively openable shelf may then be opened to allow the printed literature resting thereon to fall to a lower shelf, and the printer can then be restarted. Sheets of printed literature may be drawn from the paper collator, collected with any other sheets of printed literature associated with a prescription order, and mated with the prescription order for shipment.

SHEET PROCESSING APPARATUS AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS

A sheet processing apparatus includes a first and second alignment members that moves relatively in a width direction to align a position of a sheet in the width direction.
