SHEET STACKING APPARATUS, CONTROL METHOD OF SAME, AND SHEET CONVEYING SYSTEM
Provided is a stacker including a stacking shelf on which printed paper from a printer is received and stacked, a lifting and lowering mechanism that lifts and lowers the stacking shelf, and a stacker control unit that controls the lifting and lowering mechanism. The stacker control unit controls the lifting and lowering mechanism to lift and lower the stacking shelf to a first predetermined height corresponding to the printer at a receiving position for receiving the paper from the printer, and to lift and lower the stacking shelf to a second predetermined height corresponding to a sheet processing machine at a paper supply position for supplying paper to the sheet processing machine, the paper supply position being different from the receiving position.
Print media accumulators controlled by print job attributes
A finisher apparatus includes an accumulator to register a print medium of a print job in preparation for a finishing operation, memory to store an attribute of the print job, and a processor coupled to the accumulator and the memory. The processor is to execute instructions. The instructions are to control the accumulator based on the attribute of the print job.
Method and device for stacking flat material sheets, and device and sheet metal printing machine for processing and/or treating material sheets in the form of metal sheets
Two-dimensional material sheets are stacked in a stacking device. One of a printing machine and a coating machine has at least one stacking unit having a stacking space. Material sheets are conveyed, via the stacking space of the stacking unit, comprised by the stacking device, and are deposited into a stack on top of one another on a loading aid. For two different production runs, the stacks are formed on the loading aid with the four corners of their areas in mutually different relative orientations with respect to the loading aid, which is arranged, in each case, in the stacking space of the stacking unit and is larger-format compared with the material sheets to be deposited in each case. For the two production runs, in each case, one loading aid of the same format is positioned on different positions, as seen in projection in the horizontal, in the stacking space of the stacking unit.
Printer
A printer for printing plate-like media, in particular for printing marker cards with markers for marking electrical appliances includes a housing and at least one input station for the marker cards to be printed The printer further includes a printing station with a printing device and an output station for printed marker cards. The output station has a magazining device which has one or more guide devices so that the output station, with the magazining device, can be drawn from a position pushed into the housing into a position outside the housing and can be pushed back into the housing of the printer, Each guide device also has its own stacking unit which is pivotably mounted.
Restraining extensions
An example system may comprise a media support including a wall and a base and a restraining extension extending in a first direction to constrain print media, when present, to a space below the restraining extension.
Automated dish drop
A dish cart includes a top with a slot for receiving a lift arm that may be lifted up through the slot to raise or lower dishes. Lobe openings emanating from the slot receive lobes of a lift paddle secured to the lift arm. The cart may define a gap below the top for permitting insertion of the lift paddle and the lift arm. The cart may be adjusted to receive differently sized dishes by means of rails of different sizes or adjustable vanes. A dish drop station includes the lift arm and lift paddle and a lift mechanism for raising and lower the lift arm. The dish drop station may include a cart present sensor and include a lock for retaining the cart. The controller may be programmed to the lower the lift arm to an unlock position that disengages the cart lock.
POST-PROCESSING APPARATUS
A post-processing apparatus includes: a processing unit configured to pull in a recording medium transported from an upstream apparatus and perform processing on the recording medium; a discharge unit to which the recording medium processed by the processing unit is discharged; and a lifting drive device configured to, in a case where a folded recording medium is pulled into the processing unit, move the discharge unit downward such that a height of the discharge unit is lower than a height of the discharge unit in a case where an unfolded recording medium is pulled into the processing unit.
MAGAZINE FOR BUNDLES OF BLANKS
A magazine for bundles of blanks includes a vertical channel configured for inserting and extracting bundles of blanks and a succession of groups of supporting parts distributed along the channel. The supporting parts are configured to support the underside of a respective bundle of blanks. More specifically, each supporting part is movable between an extracted position, where it projects from the channel, towards the inside of the channel, to intercept a bundle that is moving down along the channel and to provide a steady support for the bundle, and a retracted position, where the supporting part is aligned or recessed with respect to the channel to allow the bundle to move along the channel towards a portion under the supporting part. The magazine also includes, for each supporting part, an actuating device configured to promote the passage of the supporting part from the retracted position to the extracted position and controllable by an operator, preferably manually.
Lateral translation of an output bin based on media stack height
According to examples, a printing apparatus may include an output bin that is laterally translatable between a retracted position and an extended position. The printing apparatus may also include a sensor to detect a height of a stack of media on the output bin while the output bin is in the retracted position and a controller. The controller may determine whether the detected height of the stack of media on the output bin exceeds a certain level and in response to a determination that the detected height of the stack of media exceeds the certain level, laterally translate the output bin from the retracted position to the extended position.
Medium transporting apparatus, medium processing apparatus, and recording system
A medium transporting apparatus including a transport belt that transports a medium while suctioning the medium against a transport surface, a first tray on which the medium transported with the transport belt is mounted, and a transport roller configured to move between a transporting position that nips the medium with the transport belt, and a retracted position that is a position distanced away from the transport belt with respect to the transporting position, in which the transport roller is positioned at the retracted position when a single medium is transported with the transport belt and is positioned at the transporting position when a plurality of mediums in a superposed state are transported with the transport belt.
