Pre-cut wiping material dispenser, in the form of a spool from which the material can be unwound in a strip, and use of such a dispenser
A wiping material dispenser in the form of a spool from which the material can be unwound in a strip. The dispenser includes a housing and a cutting system for cutting the strip pulled manually by a user. The cutting system includes a flexible blade and at least one tooth mounted on a front side of the housing. The flexible blade includes at least one slot positioned opposite the at least one tooth. The flexible blade can be deformed under the pressure of the strip, when a user pulls on the strip from the front side of the housing, so that the at least one tooth protrudes through the at least one slot, comes into contact with the strip pressed onto the flexible blade and tears the strip at a pre-cut line.
Device and method for processing a material web
A device for processing a material web (3) that includes means (2) for conveying the material web in a longitudinal direction (L), wherein both an applied, in particular repeated printed image (9) and a control line (10, 11) extending in the longitudinal direction are configured on the material web (3). The control line (10, 11) has a defined position transverse to the material web (3), and the control line (10, 11) is scanned by means of a sensor (15, 16) in a material web (3) processing step. The control line (3) has a digital code structure in its longitudinal direction (L) that encodes a data set of at least four bits, in particular at least two bytes, of information content.
Punching device, sheet processing device, image forming system
In a first punching mode, a control portion displaces a support member from a first-path-side end side to a second-path-side end side, and causes a first punching portion on the first-path-side end side to operate in a state where the support member has reached a first target position. In a second punching mode, the control portion displaces the support member from the second-path-side end side to the first-path-side end side, and causes a second punching portion on the second-path-side end side to operate in a state where the support member has reached a second target position. The first and second target positions are based on positions of the support member at points of time when edges on the first-path-side end side and the second-path-side end side are detected by the first sheet sensor and the second sheet sensor, respectively.
Tape dispenser
Provided is a tape dispenser that easily cuts a tape. A tape dispenser includes a drum mounted with a tape roll, a frame supporting the drum, a guide roller rotatably disposed in the frame and guiding a tape at a front side of the drum, and a cutter blade disposed at a front end of a support of the frame and cutting the tape. Here, the cutter blade includes side ends extending in a tape extending direction from a front end on which a plurality of cutting protrusions are formed, and the front end of the cutter blade inclines with respect to the side ends.
TAPE APPLICATOR WITH MAGNETIC ACTUATED BLADE GUARD
A tape applicator including a main frame, and a knife arm assembly. The knife arm assembly may include a magnet mounted in a stationary position relative to the main frame, and a knife arm pivotally mounted to the main frame. A blade may be mounted to the knife arm. A guard may be rotationally connected to the knife arm and configured to rotate between a closed position covering the blade and an open position exposing the blade. A spring may bias the guard toward the closed position. A catch may be associated with the guard comprising ferromagnetic material. The catch may be attracted to the magnet to open the guard as the knife arm swings to a cutting position.
Dispenser Cartridge and Wiper
A dispenser housing for dispensing a multi-layer tape transfer tape used in a paper web turn-up operation, the transfer tape being the combination of a tape substrate coated on one side with a web grabbing adhesive and on the other side with a mounting adhesive, and a release liner having a release liner substrate fully coated on a first side with a release layer and zone-coated on a second side with a release layer, the transfer tape being wound onto a single spool with the release liner facing inward and the mounting side adhesive facing outward, such that buckling is precluded when the transfer tape is unwound from the spool.
Wind-Resistant Fanfold Supply Support
Disclosed herein are protective packaging stock material units that are used in a dunnage system. A dunnage system includes a dunnage conversion machine and a supply station. The supply station is configured to receive fanfold stock material and manipulate the fanfold stock material into being withdrawn from the supply station in a non-planar configuration. The supply station is associated with the dunnage conversion machine such that the dunnage conversion machine operably draws fanfold stock material from the top of a stack of fanfold stock material.
Spool
The present invention concerns a spool for storing and distributing self-adhesive stickers.
It consists of a body comprising an outlet orifice of the strip (4), an inner guide (7), an upper guide forcing the strip to bend and enabling the automatic separation of the sticker by exerting a poll on said strip (5), and a last guide including a cutting blade in (12). The device according to the invention is particularly intended for the use of rolls of self-adhesive stickers.
SLIDE CUTTER BOX
Container having a base portion defining a compartment and a lid portion moveable between an open position for access to the compartment and a closed position to cover the compartment. The base portion includes a bottom panel, a back panel extending from the bottom panel to a back panel upper edge, and back side tabs extending from the back panel and defining opposing sides of the base portion. The base portion further includes a front base panel extending upwardly from the bottom panel to a front angle panel, the front angle panel extending upwardly and inwardly from the front base panel to a free end. The lid portion is hingedly-coupled to the upper edge of the back panel. The container further includes a cutter disposed on the front angle panel. A blank and method for forming the container from a sheet of blank material is also provided.
Rollback preventer for injection molded tape dispensers
A tape dispenser includes a plastic injection molded frame with a resiliently flexible finger that helps prevent the free end of a roll of tape from accidentally retracting, falling back, and frustratingly sticking to the coiled portion of the tape. To avoid this problem, a distal end of the finger presses against the inner diameter of a cardboard or plastic spool about which the tape is wrapped. Friction between the finger's distal end and the spool's inner diameter inhibits reverse rotation of the spool. To avoid breaking the finger while forcefully loading the roll of tape into the dispenser during assembly, a lateral backstop surface on the dispenser prevents the spool from bending the finger too far in a laterally outward direction. To avoid breaking the finger during subsequent rough use, another backstop surface prevents the spool from bending the finger too far in a radially downward direction.
