Tape dispenser having two sided cutter blade and method of manufacture
A tape dispenser has a cutter or cutting blade that has at least two rows of teeth opposite each other relative to the cutter or cutting blade. The blade is to be installed on the tape dispenser in any of at least two orientations. By installing the blade in any of at least two orientations, at least one row of teeth will always project from the dispensing end to cut adhesive tape as it is unwound from a roll after being dispensed. This type of blade permits an easier manufacturing ability by reducing or eliminating the need to ensure proper alignment of the teeth to project outwardly from the tape dispenser housing.
SEPARATING SYSTEM FOR DETACHING CONTAINERS FROM A PLASTIC WEB
A separating system for detaching containers from a thermoformed plastic web including a first row of containers. The system includes a stamp plate and a cutting plate. The stamp plate includes a first row of stamps associated with a first set of containers from the first row of containers and a second row of stamps associated with a second set of containers from the first row of containers. The cutting plate includes a first row of cutting openings associated with the first set of containers and a second row of cutting openings associated with the second set of containers.
Apparatus and method for notching electrode sheet
Discussed is an apparatus for notching an electrode sheet for an electrode tab, the apparatus including: a transfer unit including first and second transfer rollers to continuously, transfer the electrode sheet at regular intervals; a jig unit disposed between the first and second transfer rollers, and supporting a non-coating portion of the electrode sheet; and a notching unit to notch the non-coating portion supported on the jig unit, wherein the jig unit includes: a rotation member provided between the first and second transfer rollers and rotated in a direction perpendicular to a transfer direction of the electrode sheet; and two or more jigs to support the non-coating portion disposed between the first and second transfer rollers, and the jig unit is able to improve a supporting force of the electrode sheet, to prevent the electrode sheet from vibrating, and accurately notch an electrode tab to the electrode sheet.
PART PACKING SYSTEM AND METHOD
A part packing system for packing a part in an elongated bag includes a bag holding machine including a first bag gripper mechanism, a second bag gripper mechanism, and an air nozzle. The first bag gripper mechanism is configured to hold a first end of the elongated bag. The first bag gripper mechanism opens the first end of the elongated bag. The second bag gripper mechanism is configured to hold a second end of the elongated bag. The second bag gripper mechanism closes the second end of the elongated bag. The air nozzle is located proximate to the first bag gripper mechanism. The air nozzle is configured to inflate the elongated bag with an airflow directed into the first end of the elongated bag. The first bag gripper mechanism holds the inflated elongated bag with the first end open to receive the part in the open first end while the air nozzle directs the airflow into the elongated bag.
Sheet processing apparatus and image forming system
A sheet processing apparatus includes a conveyance portion, a punching portion, a moving portion, a first detecting portion, and a control unit configured to control the conveyance portion, the punching portion and the moving portion, wherein the control unit is configured, for a target position of each of a plurality of holes to be formed to a single sheet, to cause the first detecting portion to execute a detection process, and to execute a moving process of moving the moving portion based on the output value of the first detecting portion corresponding to the target position and a punching process of performing punching to the target position of the sheet by the punching portion after the moving process has been completed.
Roll dispenser drawer insert apparatus
A roll dispenser drawer insert apparatus for convenient storage and dispensing of rolled goods includes a housing that fits within a kitchen drawer. A pair of dowel supports is coupled to a housing left side and a housing right side within a housing inside. A dowel rod is coupled to the pair of dowel supports and secures a rolled good such as, but not limited to, aluminum foil, stretch wrap, wax paper, paper towels, and the like. A lid is hingingly coupled to the housing top side adjacent a housing back side and moves between a closed position covering an open portion of the housing top side and an open position exposing the open portion of the housing top side. A cutter is coupled to a lid underside of the lid adjacent a lid front side of the lid.
CUTTER MODULE AND METHOD
A cutter arrangement for media processing equipment, including a cutter module to be arranged on a shaft via a dedicated one of a number of transmission devices, at least one of the cutter module and the transmission devices comprising a registration feature to guide a user to arrange the cutter module on the dedicated one of the number of transmission devices.
Systems and methods of applying materials to components
Disclosed are systems for applying materials to components. The system comprises a tool operable for transferring a portion of a material from a supply of the material to a component. A first portion of the tool may be configured for cutting along a side or edge of the portion of the material. A second portion of the tool may be configured for tamping, pressing, or pushing against the portion of the material to cause uncut sides or edges of the portion of the material attached to the supply of the material to be torn, severed, detached, or separated from the supply of the material.
WASTE DETERMINATION FOR GENERATING CONTROL PLANS FOR DIGITAL PRE-PRINT PAPER, SHEET, AND BOX MANUFACTURING SYSTEMS
Systems for providing efficient manufacturing of paper, sheet, and/or box products of varying size and structure, often with pre-applied print (“pre-print”), are provided herein. One or more controllers can be used to aggregate upcoming orders and information needed to complete the manufacturing process for the order. A controller enables a user to prepare control plans (e.g., reel maps, reel plans, etc.) for processing rolls of web product through the manufacturing process. Criteria filtering and/or various features enable generation of efficient and effective control plans for rolls of web product, including, in some cases, multiple orders. The control plan may include a set of instructions for operating one or more systems within the manufacturing process to form the desired finished paper-based product. In such a regard, efficient manufacturing of various paper-based products, including corrugated boxes, folded carton, labels, flexible paper, industrial bags, plates, cups, décor, and many others, can be achieved.
