An apparatus for dispensing tie wire having a housing with a main housing part and a cover part. The cover part is releasably joined with the main housing part to thereby place the main housing part and cover part in an assembled relationship wherein a wrapped supply of tie wire is blocked in an operative position within the housing. A latch component is selectively movable between latched and unlatched positions. In the latched position the main housing part and cover part are maintained in the assembled relationship. A latch control is selectively changeable between first and second states, and: i) with the latch control in the first state, the latch control blocks the latch component from moving from the latched position into the unlatched position; and ii) with the latch control in the second state, the latch component can be moved from the latched position into the unlatched position.

The present disclosure relates to an ergonomic tape holder onto which a roll of tape is mounted and secured. In particular, the ergonomic tape holder is a single-piece and unitary constructed apparatus having vertical towers disposed on a fixed based which prevents the roll of tape from shifting, rolling, or moving about the base.

A reel holder includes a first reel holder member including a first frame member and a first ring member a second reel holder member including a second frame member and a second ring member. The first ring member is configured to be coupled with the first frame member such that the first ring member is configured to be rotatable relative to the first frame member, and the second ring member is configured to be coupled with the second frame member such that the second ring member is configured to be rotatable relative to the second frame member. The first ring member is configured to be coupled with a first flange of a reel, and the second ring member is configured to be coupled with a second flange of reel. The first ring member is configured to rotate relative to the first frame member when the reel is rotated, the second ring member is configured to rotate relative to the second frame when the reel is rotated. The first ring member includes protrusions configured to extend through the first flange of the reel, a radially outer surface of each of the protrusions is configured to support an inner surface of a hub of the reel, the second ring member includes protrusions configured to extend through the second flange of the reel, and a radially outer surface of each of the protrusions is configured to support the inner surface of the hub.

Cable reel assemblies and sub-assemblies are provided. A cable reel sub assembly includes a cable reel that has a first flange, a second flange, and a tubular body that extends between the first flange and the second flange. The first flange and the second flange each define a main opening and flange notches. The cable reel sub-assembly further includes a first pad and a second pad. Each of the first pad and the second pad define a central opening and pad notches. The cable reel sub-assembly further includes a first plug that extends through the central opening of the first pad and the main opening of the first flange. The cable reel sub-assembly further includes a second plug that extends through the central opening of the second pad and the main opening of the second flange.

A hand powered or mechanical spooling device includes a spool, a torque transfer connection as an adaptor centered and torsionaly balanced on one end of the spool, a handle, a shoulder to keep string off the handle, and a slip sleeve. The handle, shoulder and spool can be formed as connected parts or as one unitary device. The slip sleeve can be secured in place so that it rotates around a portion of the handle up to and covering most of the shoulder. The torque transfer connection is integrated as either an internal hex bit receiver/adaptor, and/or external round or hexagonal bit.

A reel holder includes a first reel holder member including a first frame member and a first ring member a second reel holder member including a second frame member and a second ring member. The first ring member is configured to be coupled with the first frame member such that the first ring member is configured to be rotatable relative to the first frame member, and the second ring member is configured to be coupled with the second frame member such that the second ring member is configured to be rotatable relative to the second frame member. The first ring member is configured to be coupled with a first flange of a reel, and the second ring member is configured to be coupled with a second flange of reel. The first ring member is configured to rotate relative to the first frame member when the reel is rotated, the second ring member is configured to rotate relative to the second frame when the reel is rotated, and the first ring member and the second ring member are configured to rotate independently of one another. The first ring member includes protrusions configured to extend through the first flange of the reel, a radially outer surface of each of the protrusions is configured to support an inner surface of a hub of the reel, the second ring member includes protrusions configured to extend through the second flange of the reel, and a radially outer surface of each of the protrusions is configured to support the inner surface of the hub.
