TRAVERSE WINDING APPARATUS
An improved winding apparatus and system for winding strips of web materials.
METHOD OF WINDING OPTICAL FIBER, METHOD OF MANUFACTURING BOBBIN-WOUND OPTICAL FIBER, OPTICAL FIBER WINDER, AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING OPTICAL FIBER STRAND
A method of winding an optical fiber includes winding the optical fiber using a bobbin that includes: a body portion having two end portions; and a pair of flanges, respectively disposed at the end portions in an axial direction of the body portion. An inner surface of each of the flanges is inclined toward an outer side in the axial direction and toward a radial outer side. The method further includes guiding the optical fiber to the bobbin using a final pulley. The bobbin and the final pulley reciprocate relative to each other in the axial direction at a traverse speed V (mm/sec) such that 0.0050 (rad)0.1000, where is a delay angle, =arctan (V/L), and L (mm) is a distance from a winding position of the optical fiber at the bobbin to the final pulley in a radial direction.

The spindle (8) comprises an inner recess. The winding machine (1) comprises a drive driving the spindle (8) for a rotational movement and a traversing carriage (20). The traversing carriage (20) is supported on the spindle (8) for being movable with a traversing motion (18) in an axial direction relative to the spindle (8). A first coupling element serves for transmitting the rotational movement of the spindle (8) to the traversing carriage (20) and a second coupling element serves for transmitting the traversing motion (18) of the traversing carriage (20) to the spool sleeve (27). The winding machine (1) also comprises an actuation mechanism (30) executing the traversing motion (18). The actuation mechanism (30) is coupled to the traversing carriage (20) for transmitting the traversing motion (18) from the actuation mechanism (30) to the traversing carriage (20). The actuation mechanism (30) extends through the inner recess of the spindle (8).

The invention also relates to a double station winder (1) having two such microduct-tube winders (5), to a processing system having a microduct-tube winder (5), to a manufacturing system having an extrusion apparatus and a processing system and to a method for winding up an empty plastics tube.
Continuous automatic twisting and winding device and method for polymer fiber artificial muscles
A continuous automatic twisting, and winding device and method for the polymer fiber artificial muscle are provided. The device includes a wire feeding mechanism, polymer fibers, a twisting mechanism, a winding mechanism, a translation mechanism, and a base plate. The center axis of the rolling bearing I in the wire feeding mechanism is horizontally aligned with the center axis of the spline shaft in the winding mechanism; the polymer fibers are generally nylon fibers, polyester fibers, etc.; the twisting mechanism, winding mechanism and the translation mechanism are mounted on the base plate; the twisting mechanism articulation seat in the twisting mechanism is fixed on the front support seat in the winding mechanism; the mounted bearing in the translation mechanism is connected to the spline shaft in the winding mechanism by interference fit. The guide rod in the translation mechanism is mounted on the rear support seat in the winding mechanism.
Traverse device and traverse method
The invention makes it possible to perform regular winding of a wire easily, inexpensively, and reliably. During traversing a winding position in the reel axis direction, while a guide roller 2 is held at a position where the distance (D) from the wound surface on the outer circumference of a reel body 1a is in a range of more than 0 mm to 30 mm or less, it is kept at an orientation where a roller radial center line P is perpendicular to a reel axis R at a position apart from a border with a reel flange 1b, and gradually inclined, with movement of a reel 1 in the reel axis direction, in a direction in which the roller outer edge goes away from the reel flange 1b ahead in the traverse direction on the side apart from the reel body 1a relative to a rotation center C, as a fulcrum, located near the outer edge on the side near the outer circumference of the body of the reel 1 at a position of the border of the reel flange 1b.
Traverse device and traverse method
A traverse device and a traverse method for winding wire materials are provided. A guide roller is placed near the outer circumference of a reel body and inclined, around the rotation center (center of curvature of an R guide) located near the outer edge of the guide roller on the side near the reel body as the fulcrum, in a direction in which the roller outer edge recedes from one of reel flanges ahead in the traverse direction on the side apart from the reel body. The inclining direction is switched at the midpoint position between the reel flanges, and with the guide roller being inclined at all times, a reel is rotated while being moved in the axis direction to wind a wire material on the reel.
