SLEEVE PLATE

The invention relates to a sleeve plate designed to support and center a bobbin sleeve, comprising: a centering projection; and a main body, in particular circular in design, further designed in particular in a plate-like manner, with a surface side.

The centering projection can be designed in particular to be received by an opening in an end face of the bobbin sleeve. The centering projection is arranged in a rotationally centered manner on the surface side of the main body and projects from this surface side and is designed in such a way as to center the bobbin sleeve when the bobbin sleeve is in the received state. The centering projection has a lateral surface. In order to improve the receiving of a bobbin sleeve on a sleeve plate during a transition from a run-up rotational state to a winding state, thereby increasing the process reliability and thereby saving resources, it is provided that a functional device can be assigned or is assigned to the centering projection, in particular the lateral surface of the centering projection.

Filament winding apparatus

The present invention generally relates to an improved winding apparatus useful in the production of filament wound products and particularly wound tubular products having high length to diameter ratios. The improved winding apparatus comprises a support means for supporting a rotatable mandrel during the manufacture of wound products, the support means comprising a plurality of axially spaced pins extending circumferentially around the mandrel, and a support assembly having a semicircular inner face and an opening, wherein a portion of the plurality of pins is brought into contact with the inner face of the support assembly when the mandrel is rotated.

Quick-adjust tensioner that exerts a braking torque on a spool. The tensioner includes a stop configured to fit onto a rod supporting the spool. The location of the stop on the rod is adjustable by the user. The stop is connected to a foot by a biasing member. The biasing member presses the foot against the spool to create a braking torque on the spool. The force of the biasing member on the foot is predetermined by adjusting the distance between the stop and the foot, thereby adjusting the foot's braking torque on the spool.

Capstan and System of Capstans for Use in Spooling Multiple Conductors Onto a Single Reel

A capstan includes a lift motor, a flexible lifting member, and a tether assembly. The lift motor is operatively connected to a shaft. The flexible lifting member includes a first end and a second end. The first end is connected to the shaft. The flexible lifting member connects a lift assembly to the lift motor via the shaft. The tether assembly includes a switch arranged between a portion of the flexible lifting member and a portion of the capstan. The second end is connected to the tether assembly. The switch acts as a safety in case of a broken flexible lifting member and allows for an automated unloading cycle.

Method and system for winding a continuous elongate element

A method and a system of winding a continuous elongate element onto cylindrical elements. The continuous elongate element is wound from a feeder onto a first cylindrical element. The first cylindrical element rotates with the same rotational speed as a second cylindrical element provided on the other side of a central rotatable member. During the rotation, the feeder is displaced from being aligned with the first cylindrical element to being aligned with the second cylindrical element, wherein the displacement causes the continuous elongate element to come into engagement with an engagement portion of the central rotatable member, preventing the already wound portion of the continuous elongate element from being unwound from the first cylindrical element. The continuous elongate element from the feeder is continued to be wound onto the second cylindrical element by continuing to rotate the second cylindrical element.

Winding machine fixing mechanism, winding machine and method for coupling and/or decoupling a winding sleeve to or from a winding spindle of a winding machine

The invention relates to a winding machine (1) with a winding machine fixing mechanism (44) for fixing a winding sleeve (4) on a winding spindle (3). The winding machine fixing mechanism (44) can be actuated by use of a motion control. By this motion-controlled actuation, the winding machine fixing mechanism (44) can be transferred from the release position into a fixing position and/or from a fixing position into a release position. During the motion control, a catch (5) is entrained by the movement of the winding sleeve (4). This catch then causes the actuation of the winding machine fixing mechanism (44).
