A device used to release, retract, and store a cable or a cable-like structure that provides an easy solution for cable or cable-like structure applications. The device can be used for all kinds of electronic devices in private entities and public facilities tidily and safely. Applying the devices within the present patent application will significantly reduce safety hazards caused by ill-placed or tangled cables or cable-like structures while also storing said cables or cable-like structures when not in use.

A carrier tape holding device is installed in a component supply unit that supplies a component by drawing a carrier tape storing the component from a tape roll body formed by winding the carrier tape in a roll shape. The carrier tape holding device includes a storage portion that stores the tape roll body. The storage portion holds the tape roll body in a state where the component supply unit is able to draw the carrier tape from the tape roll body, and is capable of receiving a tape roll body for replenishment moved from a holder storing the tape roll body for replenishment in a state where the holder is detachably attached.

A carrier tape holding device is installed in a component supply unit that supplies a component by drawing a carrier tape storing the component from a tape roll body formed by winding the carrier tape in a roll shape. The carrier tape holding device includes a storage portion that stores the tape roll body. The storage portion holds the tape roll body in a state where the component supply unit is able to draw the carrier tape from the tape roll body, and is capable of receiving a tape roll body for replenishment moved from a holder storing the tape roll body for replenishment in a state where the holder is detachably attached.

An apparatus for the accumulation of wire or cable, the apparatus including a collapsible reel assembly, the collapsible reel assembly including a central hollow arbor, a fixed inner support structure axially centered on and rigidly attached to the central hollow arbor, wherein the fixed inner support has a first end and a second end, a fixed flange, axially centered on and attached to the first end of the fixed inner support structure, a removable flange, axially centered on and removably attached to the second end of the fixed inner support structure opposite the fixed flange and an inner drum assembly. The inner drum assembly including a plurality of moving inner support structures movably attached to the fixed inner support structure and a plurality of inwardly-collapsible drum segments. Wherein the inwardly-collapsible drum segments collapse inward after the removable flange is removed from the collapsible reel assembly.

An apparatus for the accumulation of wire or cable, the apparatus including a collapsible reel assembly, the collapsible reel assembly including a central hollow arbor, a fixed inner support structure axially centered on and rigidly attached to the central hollow arbor, wherein the fixed inner support has a first end and a second end, a fixed flange, axially centered on and attached to the first end of the fixed inner support structure, a removable flange, axially centered on and removably attached to the second end of the fixed inner support structure opposite the fixed flange and an inner drum assembly. The inner drum assembly including a plurality of moving inner support structures movably attached to the fixed inner support structure and a plurality of inwardly-collapsible drum segments. Wherein the inwardly-collapsible drum segments collapse inward after the removable flange is removed from the collapsible reel assembly.

The present disclosure relates to a utility enclosure that can store fiber optic cables that includes an underground enclosure and a cable storage system mountable to a wall of the enclosure. The cable storage system includes a cable storage wheel for storing the fiber optic cable, a mounting plate used to secure the cable storage wheel to the wall of the enclosure, and a spacer. The spacer has a first end secured to the mounting plate and a second end secured to the cable storage wheel for maintaining the cable storage wheel in a spaced relationship relative to the wall of the enclosure.

A packaging dispenser for bend-resistant items. In some embodiments, the dispenser includes a container storing bags of cables in an alternating folded pattern. In some embodiments, a vertically floating dispensing guide guides the bags through a slot in the container. The dispensing guide is configured and arranged to limit over-bending of the items as the items are dispensed through the slot and to stabilize the folded pattern.

A packaging dispenser for bend-resistant items. In some embodiments, the dispenser includes a container storing bags of cables in an alternating folded pattern. In some embodiments, a vertically floating dispensing guide guides the bags through a slot in the container. The dispensing guide is configured and arranged to limit over-bending of the items as the items are dispensed through the slot and to stabilize the folded pattern.

A rope dispensing apparatus for rapidly dispensing a continuous rope from a compressed rope cartridge. The apparatus includes a canister for storage of the rope cartridge, a resealable lid with an opening for passing the rope from the cartridge out of the canister through the lid, and a replaceable cutting mechanism for cutting the rope when a desired length has been dispensed. Preferably, the rope cartridge is shrink-wrapped to fit within the canister and keep the rope from unraveling while therein.

A rope dispensing apparatus for rapidly dispensing a continuous rope from a compressed rope cartridge. The apparatus includes a canister for storage of the rope cartridge, a resealable lid with an opening for passing the rope from the cartridge out of the canister through the lid, and a replaceable cutting mechanism for cutting the rope when a desired length has been dispensed. Preferably, the rope cartridge is shrink-wrapped to fit within the canister and keep the rope from unraveling while therein.
