Arrangement for determining a spatial orientation of a line portion unwound from a cable drum
An arrangement is provided for determining a spatial orientation of a line portion unrolled from a cable drum. The arrangement includes a fastening base and a measuring probe having a cable guide and being pivotable in relation to the fastening base about a first and second axes of rotation. The measuring probe is configured to interact with a sensor device, and the sensor device is configured to sense the first and second axes of rotation.
REEL PROVIDED WITH A PACKAGING MATERIAL, AND A FILLING MACHINE FOR FILLING A PACKAGING MATERIAL WITH A FOOD PRODUCT
The invention relates to a reel (5) provided with a packaging material (7). The reel (5) is adapted to be mounted on a mandrel (2) of a filling machine (1). The reel (5) is hollow and has the shape of a cylinder, an inner portion of which is provided with a tag (6) containing information at least associated with the packaging material (7). The invention also relates to a filling machine (1) for filling a packaging material (7) with a food product.
Sliver Can Including a Display Element for Displaying Properties of the Fiber Material
The invention relates to a sliver can (1) for accommodating a strand-shaped fiber material (2), comprising a peripheral, at least partially transparent side wall (3), via which an accommodating space (4) for the fiber material (2) is delimited, comprising a can base (5), which is preferably vertically movable within the accommodating space (4), and comprising at least one display element (6) for displaying the quantity and/or at least one property of the fiber material (2) located in the sliver can (1). According to the invention, the display element (6) is arranged in such a way that it is visible through the side wall (3) from outside the accommodating space (4).
REEL HOLDER
A reel holder is disclosed. In some embodiments, the reel holder comprises an opening configured to receive and hold a reel having packaging material and a transceiver configured to communicate with a tag in the reel to receive information stored in the tag. A filling machine system is also disclosed. In some embodiments, the filling machine system comprises a reel holder and a reel provided with a tag.
Determining a remaining amount of material in a material package
Determining a remaining amount of material in a material package may be provided. First, a weight of the material package may be received in response to the ingress of the material package back into an operations area. Then, based upon a beacon code received in response to the ingress of the material package back into the operations area, a material database may be queried for a material package record. Next, a remaining amount of material corresponding to the material package may be calculated based upon the received weight and data from the material package record found from the material database query. The material package record may then be updated in the material database with the calculated remaining amount of material corresponding to the material package.
Method for labelling reels
A method for labelling reels, wherein a movable expansion shaft of a robot engages a first portion of a cylindrical inner surface of a reel and an application roller with a printed label retained thereon engages a second portion of the cylindrical inner surface and attaches the printed label on the second portion of the cylindrical inner surface.
Traceable Cable Drum and Kit for Traceable Cable Drum
A traceable cable drum includes a reel region, at least one flange region, a cradle having anchor members configured for anchoring the cradle to the flange region, and a sensor case containing a tracking sensor and configured for being inserted into the cradle. The cradle includes a number of engagement elements and the sensor case includes a number of connection elements. The engagement elements or the connection elements are movable between a retain condition where the engagement elements and the connection elements cooperate to retain the sensor case in the cradle, and a release condition where the engagement elements and the connection elements are disengaged and the sensor case is extractable from the cradle.
PLASTIC CAP FOR A CABLE SPOOL
A cap to be used with a plastic cable spool, said cap including a back side adapted to be arranged towards a barrel of a plastic cable spool and a front side adapted to be directed away from a barrel of a plastic cable spool, wherein said cap has a through-hole adapted to be aligned with a center axis of a cable spool, wherein said through-hole is at least partly surrounded by an inner wall on the back side of said cap, wherein said cap is provided with an outer wall extending around at least a part of said outer circumference of said cap, on the back side of said cap, and wherein said back side of said cap is provided with at least four reinforcement ribs extending between said outer wall and said inner wall.
A cable spool being provided with such a cap.
Load indicating tube and method
A hollow cylindrical tube having an outer surface coated with one or more inks is provided, each ink encapsulated in capsules that rupture under one or more specific loading conditions to display a visually perceptible color. The tube may be used to determine the load capabilities of the tube, to optimize the tube construction and to determine load magnitudes of windable materials and/or the winding process.
MATERIAL TRACKING SYSTEM AND METHOD
A material tracking system is provided for tracking material stored on and drawn from a reel. The material tracking system may include a reel, detection element, digital logic components, battery and power components, transceiver and communication components, location receiver, enclosure, analytic component and interface component. One or more sensors relative to the reel may detect a position indicative of forward or reverse reel rotation. A processor may analyze signals to count rotations of the reel, which is savable in memory. A battery may provide power. The system may also record the time and location associated with rotations. A method to operate a tracking material stored on and drawn from a reel using the material tracking system is also provided.
