At least one adapter bushing to be disposed between the protrusion (4) of the independent stand (1) and the at least one retaining orifice (5F) of one of the side flanges of the spool (5). The at least one adapter bushing is configured to removably fasten the independent stand (1) to the one of the side flanges of the spool (5).

The roll of sheet material comprises a first end portion incorporating a key, and the housing comprises a mounting portion arranged to support the first end portion of the roll and a support portion arranged to support a second end of the roll. The mounting portion comprises a tilting member pivotally coupled to the housing to define an operative position, in which the mounting portion and the support portion are aligned to support the roll in the housing, and a loading position, in which the mounting portion and the support portion are unaligned to inhibit support of the roll in the housing. The mounting portion comprises a block arrangement which is movable between a blocked condition, in which movement of the tilting member from the loading position to the operative position is inhibited, and an unblocked condition, in which movement of the tilting member from the loading position to the operative position is permitted. The mounting portion is arranged such that the roll is movable between an engaged condition, in which the key engages the mounting portion, and a disengaged condition, in which the key is disengaged from the mounting portion, such that, when the roll is moved from the disengaged to the engaged condition, the first end portion of the roll moves the block arrangement into the unblocked condition, thereby permitting movement of the tilting member from the loading position to the operative position.

The roll of sheet material comprises a first end portion incorporating a key, and the housing comprises a mounting portion arranged to support the first end portion of the roll. The mounting portion comprises a lock arrangement which is movable between a locked condition and a free condition. The lock arrangement comprises a rotatable element configured for rotation about an axis, and a locking element configured for engagement with the rotatable element to inhibit rotation of the rotatable element, such that, when the locking element and the rotatable element are engaged, the lock arrangement occupies the locked condition, and when the locking element and the rotatable element are disengaged, the lock arrangement occupies the free condition. The mounting portion is arranged such that the roll is movable between an engaged condition, in which the key engages the mounting portion, and a disengaged condition, in which the key is disengaged from the mounting portion, such that, when the roll is moved from the disengaged to the engaged condition, the first end portion of the roll moves the lock arrangement into the free condition, thereby permitting rotation of the rotatable element. The locking element and the rotatable element are configured for engagement by relative movement of the locking element and the rotatable element towards each other in a direction along the axis of rotation of the rotatable element.

A scarf-joint structure for the paper tube of a film dispenser is mounted in a film dispenser, which includes a frame connected with a film installation unit and an adjustment unit. The film installation unit is installed with a film roll and consists of a first positioning member and a second positioning member. The adjustment unit is formed with an operating part and a connecting part, and the operating part is connected with an adjusting member, which is threadably fixed with a screw fastener and further, an elastic member is mounted between the operating part and the connecting part. Thus, the film roll, the first positioning member and a second positioning member can be rotated synchronously, able to prevent the film roll from running idle, causing dislocation and falling off.

Independently rotatable flanges and attachable arbor hole adapters

A pair of flanges attachable to the arbor hole of a reel is disclosed. The flanges provide a mechanism to allow the reel to be easily loaded, and lifted into place. Once loaded into place, the flanges may include a locking mechanism that locks the reel in place, centered on the flanges. Additionally, the flanges are attachable using a hub that allows them to rotate independently from one another, and from the reel to which they are attached.

An end plug to be inserted axially into the centre of an end of a roll of paper, includes a holding element adapted to hold and/or guide the end of the roll of paper in correct position in a dispenser. The end plug includes an outer sleeve having an outer end and an inner end and the holding element is connected to the sleeve by elements allowing the holding element to be axially moved from a first position to a second position, in which the holding element protrude outwardly from the outer end of the sleeve, the holding element being releasably held in the first position when moved thereto. A roll of tissue paper including such an end plug and a dispenser provided with such a roll are also disclosed.
