Friction Shaft for Slitter
A friction shaft for a slitter has winding tubes disposed on an outer surface thereof to roll unit materials formed by cutting a raw material such as various kinds of paper, fabric, or film with predetermined intervals. The friction shaft includes a first rotary shaft, tubes, lug bodies for torque, first fixed shafts, brake pads, a second rotary shaft, guide members, lug bodies for clamping, second fixed shafts, a plurality of lug rollers, covers, a first elastic member, and second elastic members.
Friction Shaft for Slitter
A friction shaft for a slitter has winding tubes disposed on an outer surface thereof to roll unit materials formed by cutting a raw material such as various kinds of paper, fabric, or film with predetermined intervals includes a first rotary shaft, tubes, brake pads, a second rotary shaft, pressing members, first rotary tubes, second rotary tubes, first and second bearings, first elastic members, guide members, second elastic members, and lugs for clamping.
Fixing apparatus and automatic system
A fixing structure for fixing a reel is disclosed. The fixing structure includes a shaft having a first end having a first plurality of protrusions, and a second end having a second plurality of protrusions, wherein each of the first plurality of protrusions and one of its adjacent protrusions have a first recess therebetween, and each of the second plurality of protrusions and one of its adjacent protrusions have a second recess therebetween; and a supporting device, including a first supporting portion supporting the first end, and having a first protruding portion abutting the first recess; and a second supporting portion supporting the second end, and having a second protruding portion abutting the second recess.
Rotatable Cable Reel
A cable reel of the present disclosure can include two flanges and a central drum being independently rotatable from one another. The drum, which can be configured to receive a cable, can be mounted on an axle. The two flanges can be rotationally mounted on the axle at opposing distal ends of the axle. Bearings in the flanges can allow for a full rotation of the flanges about the axle.
TRANSFORMABLE CABLE REELS AND RELATED ASSEMBLIES AND METHODS
Transformable cable reels, related assemblies and methods are disclosed. The transformable cable reels may be provided in a first reel configuration for spooling on cable to the transformable cable reel and to pay out the spooled cable from the transformable cable reel. Cable spooled on the transformable cable reel may be payed out during cable installations. The transformable cable reel may also be configured in a second reel configuration for storage of any excess cable after cable payout. As one non-limiting example, the volume of the cable reel may be less in the second reel configuration than in the first reel configuration so that less volume is required to store the transformable cable reel. Providing the transformable cable reel in the second reel configuration may make it more feasible to store the transformable cable reel in fiber optic equipment, and/or avoid storing excess cable removed from a cable reel.
Core Chuck System
A core chuck system (10) comprising a core chuck (11) and a spindle (12) onto which the core chuck (11) is lockable, which core chuck system (10) comprises a ball locking mechanism, a locking button (15) and a cone connection (C).
Material Roll Dispenser
Implementations of a material roll dispenser for holding and dispensing rolls of materials are provided. In some implementations, the material roll dispenser comprises one or more configurations of a roll dispensing assembly, a platform assembly, a handle assembly, and a wheel assembly each configured to telescopingly position and secure onto a vertical member to form the material roll dispenser.
In some implementations, a method of using the material roll dispenser comprises telescopingly positioning and securing the roll dispensing assembly, the platform assembly, the handle assembly, and the wheel assembly onto the vertical member to form the material roll dispenser. In some implementations, the method of using the material roll dispenser further comprises loading, holding, and dispensing one or more rolls of material from the material roll dispenser.

Apparatus and methods for winding and cutting wire or cable
A system for winding wire includes a wire take-up unit and a wire cutter/grabber unit. The take-up unit includes rotatable first and second mandrel portions, and a wire directing traverse arranged to feed wire and alternately form coils on the first and second mandrel portions. The cutter/grabber unit is configured to cut the wire at a cut position between the traverse and a coil formed on the first mandrel portion and to grab a free end of the cut wire and move along a predefined cutter/grabber pathway to a hand-off position where the wire is transferred to the second mandrel portion. As the cutter/grabber is moved along the pathway from the cut to the hand-off position, a length of wire between the traverse and the free end of the wire does not decrease, and that length of wire is longer at the hand-off position than at the cut position.
STACKABLE SPOOL CABLE MANAGER
A stackable spool cable manager assembly may include a plurality of like cable manager spools. The cable manager spools may include a locking mechanism such that the cable manager spools can be stacked and such that when locked together a cable support arm of each the cable manager spools is offset from the others. A magnet may also be provided, for example, for securing to a bottom one of a stack of cable manager spools such that they can be secured to a metal tray or the like.
