Slip resistant core for holding a paper web
The present disclosure is directed to a core-roll that contains areas of anti-slip material and methods of making the core-roll. The core-roll has one or more anti-slip zones to allow a continuous paper web to be wound around the core without the need for additional physical restraint to keep the paper from shifting laterally along the core. In another embodiment, the disclosure describes a parent roll having an anti-slip core-roll that does not interfere with other operations that occur during converting.

Recoiler for a merchandise security system
Embodiments of the present invention are directed to recoilers, merchandise security systems, and methods for displaying and protecting an article of merchandise from theft. In one example, the merchandise security system includes a sensor configured to be secured to the article of merchandise and a base for removably supporting the sensor and the item of merchandise thereon. The system also includes a recoiler operably coupled to the sensor. The recoiler includes a rotatable member defining a helical recess. The system further includes a cable configured to connect to the sensor and to be unwound from and wound on the rotatable member as the cable is extended and retracted. The cable is configured to be extended from the recoiler in response to the sensor being lifted off of the base, and the cable is configured to be retracted into the recoiler in response to the sensor being moved to a seated position on the base. The helical recess is configured to at least partially receive the cable therein as the cable is wound on the rotatable member.

Wire reel
A wire reel has a simplified wire joining structure in order to make manufacturing of the wire reel easy, which includes: a wire winding part having a wire wound surface on which a wire is wound by rotation, and first, second and third wire through holes formed in the wire wound surface to be spaced apart from one another at predetermined intervals so that the wire is inserted from the outside to the inside of a body; and a wire joining part having a wire joining groove formed in the body, a first direction joining area to which the wire is inserted from the outside to the inside of the body through the first wire through hole, a second direction joining area to which the wire is inserted from the inside to the outside of the body in the opposite direction to the first direction through the second wire through hole.

Hose holder
The present invention is directed to a hose holder that nests individual hose loops separately in grooves formed on (or forming) a sloped surface. The holder includes a series of arched grooves, each groove provided at a different position along the slope of the surface such that adjacent grooves are at different vertical heights when the holder is mounted for use. Grooves further from the mounting point are lower than those nearer. In general, each groove is wide enough to hold and guide a single loop of hose and is configured for easy deployment of the hose when the hose is pulled away from the hose holder.
YARN CARRIER TUBES
The present disclosure is directed to a reusable yarn carrier tube around which yarn may be wound at high speeds (e.g., within winding machines). The yarn carrier tube may include a pick-up groove having structural features configured to better snag yarn to initiate winding of the yarn around the cylindrical body of the yarn carrier tube. The structural features may include an adaptable snagging feature that is adaptable to many different yarn types (e.g., diameter, denier, texture, material). The structural features may include projections (e.g., teeth) with incremental narrowing therebetween in the direction opposite to the rotational winding direction. The teeth may increase in sharpness (e.g., decreasing radii of curvature) as the yarn moves further into the pick-up groove.
Dispenser
A sheet dispenser system having a roll of sheet material and a housing to receive the roll. The roll of sheet material comprises a first end portion incorporating a key, and the housing comprises a mounting portion arranged to support the first end portion of the roll and a support portion arranged to support a second end of the roll. The mounting portion comprises a tilting member pivotally coupled to the housing to define an operative position, in which the mounting portion and the support portion are aligned to support the roll in the housing, and a loading position, in which the mounting portion and the support portion are unaligned to inhibit support of the roll in the housing. The mounting portion comprises a block arrangement which is movable between a blocked condition, in which movement of the tilting member from the loading position to the operative position is inhibited, and an unblocked condition, in which movement of the tilting member from the loading position to the operative position is permitted. The mounting portion is arranged such that the roll is movable between an engaged condition, in which the key engages the mounting portion, and a disengaged condition, in which the key is disengaged from the mounting portion, such that, when the roll is moved from the disengaged to the engaged condition, the first end portion of the roll moves the block arrangement into the unblocked condition, thereby permitting movement of the tilting member from the loading position to the operative position.
