System and apparatus for drill powered handheld line pulling
An apparatus for a drill powered wire puller is disclosed. The drill powered wire puller includes a capstan, a housing positioned including a gear mechanism disposed therein, and a trigger assembly coupled to a trigger of a handheld power drill, wherein actuation of the trigger assembly causes depression of the trigger thereby activating the handheld power drill. The drill powered wire puller further includes a cradle plate including a notch positioned at a proximal end of the cradle plate, the notch being sized and shaped to receive the handheld power drill. The drill powered wire puller further includes a foot pedal system including a foot pedal, a base, a spring, wherein when the foot pedal receives pressure, tension is created on the throttle causing actuation of the trigger assembly and activation of the handheld power drill.
Unidirectional locking spool
The spool for storing and distributing linear product has a drum and inner flanges defining the ends of the drum. The drum is configured to receive a linear product wound about the drum. The inner flanges have locking gears on the outside faces of the inner flanges. The spool has an axle supporting the inner flanges and a pair of outer flanges. The outer flanges each have an outer flange gear positioned in their inner face and corresponding to the inner flange gear. The inner and outer flange gears cooperate to allow the drum to rotate in a first direction but not a second direction when the spool is supported by the outer flanges. The outer flanges are slightly taller than the inner flanges such that the spool may be positioned on a flat surface (e.g., truck bed or ground) and unwound without any equipment.
Handheld system and method for pulling wire
Apparatus for a drill powered wire puller are disclosed. In an embodiment the drill powered wire puller includes a center plate, a cradle plate, a housing, a support, the support including a receiver, and a capstan. The center plate is coupled with the cradle plate at a proximal end. The cradle plate includes a U-shaped notch and two hooks or catches which are configured to couple the cradle plate with a powered rotary tool, such as a drill. The right side of the center plate is coupled with a housing, the left side of the center plate is coupled with a support. The left side of the support is coupled with a capstan. The support laterally offsets the receiver to align a longitudinal axis of the receiver with a radially curved portion of the capstan.
DEVICE TETHERING SYSTEM AND METHOD
A device tethering system is provided for securing a device to a source location as may be assisted by a tether. The device tethering system may include a retraction component, tether, pouch, belt, device mounting component, device aspect of the device mounting component, and/or tether aspect of the device mounting component. A method for securing a device to a source location using the device tethering system is also provided.

Rooftop fabric dispensing apparatus
Machines are disclosed for dispensing a rolled fabric over spaced support beams of a roof and for holding the fabric firmly in place over such beams to protect workers from falling through the gaps between the beams. The machines may include one, some, or all of several different components and features to enhance the system's overall operation and effectiveness. One aspect relates to a hub brake used to help prevent unwinding of the fabric roll in the event of a fall. Another aspect relates to a magnetic brake to help keep the machine from sliding across the support beams in the event of a fall. Another aspect relates to a guide assembly that engages a support beam with a one-directional bearing to also help keep the machine from sliding in the event of a fall.

Seamless hoist
The invention provides a hoist mechanism for a backdrop as used in the photographic setting. The hoist uses two vertical channels, each having and upper and a lower pull around which a belt is attached. A bracket, secured to the belt, is used to secure a roller of the backdrop thereto. A connecting rod, secured to the lower pullies of the vertical channels, is used to keep the two belts operating in concert. A hand crank, secured to the connecting rod, permits the operator to move the two brackets up/down which moves the a roller having the backdrop in like fashion.

Rotatable Cable Reel
A cable reel of the present disclosure can include two flanges and a central drum being independently rotatable from one another. The drum, which can be configured to receive a cable, can be mounted on an axle. The two flanges can be rotationally mounted on the axle at opposing distal ends of the axle. Bearings in the flanges can allow for a full rotation of the flanges about the axle. The cable reel can also include a locking pin for locking rotation of a flange with rotation of the drum.
