Grouping unit and method to form groups of hygiene absorbent articles in a packaging machine; a conveyor which receives the single hygiene absorbent articles in an input station is provided, which feeds the hygiene absorbent articles along a grouping path, and releases the groups of hygiene absorbent articles in an output station; wherein the conveyor has a belt which is closed so as to form a ring, is wound around at least two pulleys, and supports a plurality of blades, which extend perpendicular to the belt and delimit, between one another, respective pockets, which are each designed to hold a corresponding hygiene absorbent article; an active braking device is provided, which is arranged at the input station so as to cooperate with a pocket arranged in the input station to slow down the movement with which a corresponding hygiene absorbent article enters the pocket.
PAPER SHEET CONVEYANCE DEVICE AND SEPARATION/COLLECTION DEVICE
A paper sheet conveyance device for conveying a paper sheet by an airstream generated in a tubular conveyance path. The paper sheet conveyance device includes a frame member that supports the conveyance path and are provided along an installation route of the conveyance path, pedestal units attached to the frame member and that slide along a longitudinal direction of the frame member, and a plurality of paper sheet capturing devices that send out the paper sheet to be conveyed into the conveyance path and are provided in the conveyance path. Each of the paper sheet capturing devices includes a path part that forms a part of the conveyance path, which is formed by joining a plurality of conveyance ducts and the path parts of the paper sheet capturing devices. The pedestal unit is provided for and holds each of the paper sheet capturing devices.
POSTAL SORTING EQUIPMENT WITH AN UNSTACKER MAGAZINE FORMING A FORK AND INCLUDING A SECTION THAT IS MOUNTED TO MOVE IN ELEVATION
Postal sorting equipment for sorting flat mailpieces comprises a postal sorting machine, a storage-tray conveyor for conveying open-topped storage trays filled with mailpieces stacked flat, a shuttle-tray conveyor for conveying substantially L-shaped open-fronted shuttle trays, and in which the mailpieces are placed on-edge in stacks, and a tray interchanger suitable for automatically transferring the mailpieces stored flat in an open-topped storage tray to an open-fronted shuttle tray, the feed inlet comprising an unstacker with a fork-shaped magazine with tines, each of which is constituted by a motor-driven belt, the shuttle tray and the fork-shaped magazine being designed so that, by advancing towards the unstacker, the shuttle tray is engaged by the motor-driven belts of the unstacker magazine that come to be inserted under the mailpiece stack disposed on-edge in the shuttle tray, the unstacker magazine including a conveyor section that is mounted to move in elevation under the magazine tines.
Device for feeding carton stacks
A feeding device for feeding stacks of standing flat-folded cartons to a receiving station, comprising a conveyor track having a flat bearing plane adapted to support the stacks, where the conveyor track comprises at least two rows of teeth where each row of teeth comprises a plurality of spaced apart teeth adapted to support the stacks of flat-folded cartons, where the teeth can be positioned in either an erected position or in a folded position, and where the feeding device comprises a guide track arranged along the bearing plane adapted to hold the teeth in the selected position, and where the guide track ends at an end region of the conveyor track, such that the teeth are unsupported at the end region. The advantage of the invention is that stacks of flat-folded cartons can be merged continuously at an outfeed region.
Repositioning station
The repositioning station (200) allows a continuous shingled stream (120) of overlapping semirigid planar articles (100) to be transported on an incoming conveyor (122) along a transport circuit (204) onto an outgoing conveyor (302) so as to form a stack that can be carried away upon the outgoing conveyor (302). The repositioning station (200) includes a lateral deviation assembly (210) and may also include a final positioning assembly (212). The transport circuit (204) within the lateral deviation assembly (210) follows a generally ellipsoidal deviation path to veer the shingled stream (120) and also to pivot the articles (100) therein about a curvilinear axis (206) from a facedown position to an upright position. The outgoing conveyor (302) can carry the cartons (100) in a direction that is parallel to that of the incoming conveyor (122).
Abrasion-resistant belt
A belt having a first cover layer with a first top surface and preferably also a second cover layer with a second top surface, wherein the first cover layer and, if present, the second cover layer are made of a foam having a thermoplastic or thermoplastic elastomer, in particular a TPU or PEBA. The belt is suitable e.g. as a machine tape in mail sorting machines and for power transmission.
Paper currency accommodating device
A banknote accommodating device includes a box body, a box door and a banknote inlet. A movable guide plate in the box body is arranged below the banknote inlet through a rotating shaft, and has a guide surface facing the banknote inlet, and an included angle between the guide surface and a vertical direction ranges from 0 degree to 20 degrees, an elastic element is provided on a back surface of the guide surface, and provides a thrust to rotate the movable guide plate counterclockwise. The box door is provided with a guide rib which forms an included angle with the vertical direction, and a stacking surface is provided at the bottom of the box body and forms an included angle with a horizontal direction, and a space for stacking banknotes vertically is formed between the guide surface, the guide rib and the stacking surface.
Cheque processing device
Disclosed is a cheque processing device, including: a base, a frame located at the top face of the base and forming a U-shaped paper passage, and multiple sets of conveying roller assemblies (9) and multiple processing mechanisms provided along the U-shaped paper passage, wherein one end of the U-shaped paper passage is an inlet and the other end is an outlet. The frame comprises a fixed frame body, and a first movable frame body and a second movable frame body which form the U-shaped paper passage together with the fixed frame body, wherein the first movable frame body and the second movable frame body can both pivot on the base to open and close with respect to the fixed frame body.
STORAGE UNIT FOR BLANKS AND RELATED METHOD
A blanks storage unit for storing a stack of blanks includes: inlet and outlet sections of the blanks; a feed device having a support device to restingly receive the blanks of the stack of blanks; and a feed element for moving the blanks along a feed trajectory from the inlet section towards the outlet section.
