BLOWER, DRYER, AND PRINTER
A blower includes a blowout port configured to blow air outside the blower, a channel member connected to the blowout port, the channel member configured to guide the air to the blowout port, a first heat insulation member configured to cover an inner wall of the channel member, and a second heat insulation member configured to cover an outer wall of the channel member.
CORELESS PAPER ROLL MANUFACTURING METHOD
A manufacturing method includes: a first step for winding up paper to form paper roll; a second step for inserting an insertion section, which ejects an adhesive, into a center hole of the paper roll; a third step for causing the adhesive to adhere to a predetermined position of the center hole; and a fourth step for performing a heating and drying process on an area to which the adhesive is adhered to harden opposite ends of the center hole. The third step includes causing the adhesive to adhere to near opposite extending ends of the center hole. The adhesive has adhesive strength to an extent that the paper wound up into the roll shape is peelable when the paper roll is to be used. The fourth step includes drying the adhesive adhered to the center hole before the adhesive spreads from the predetermined position of the center hole.
Image forming apparatus
An image forming apparatus including a sheet storage portion in which a plurality of sheets is stored; a heater which heats air; a fan which sprays air on the sheet stored in the sheet storage portion; and a controller which controls the heat of the heater and controls the drive of the fan, in which the controller controls the heat of the heater at a first temperature before a drive time of the fan reaches a threshold value set in advance, the drive time being in which the fan sprays air heated by the heater on the sheet, and when the drive time of the fan reaches or exceeds the threshold value set in advance, controls the heat of the heater at a second temperature lower than the first temperature.
DRYING DEVICE AND PRINTING DEVICE
A drying device includes: a supporting section that supports a medium on which printing was performed; a conveying section that conveys, along a conveying region, the medium supported by the supporting section; a heat generating section configured to heat, over a width direction, the medium supported by the supporting section; a fix-supporting section configured to support the heat generating section fixing the heat generating section; and free-supporting section configured to support the heat generating section so that the heat generating section can expand and contract, wherein the fix-supporting section is located in a first lateral region that is a region outside the conveying region in the width direction, and the free-supporting section is located in a second lateral region that is a region outside the conveying region in the width direction and different from the first lateral region.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DRYING INKS PRINTED ON HEAT SENSITIVE ABSORBENT ARTICLE COMPONENTS
The present disclosure relates to methods and apparatuses for printing and drying inks on substrates. Printing systems may include a metering device positioned between a printing station and a light source. During operation, the printing station deposits ink onto a substrate to define a printed region. And the light source directs infrared light onto the substrate to define an illumination zone. The printed region is advanced from the printing station to the metering device and from the metering device through the illumination zone, wherein the ink is dried with infrared light traveling from the light source, which also heats the substrate and changes the modulus of elasticity of the substrate. In turn, the metering device isolates the printing station from the change in the modulus of elasticity to help reduce phase shifts caused by changes in the modulus of elasticity resulting from heat in the substrate.
Recording system
There is provided a recording system that can suppress a reduction in throughput when post-processing is performed in a post-processing apparatus.
Curl Resistant Web Handling System
A web handling system is disclosed. The web handling system includes first dancer rollers coupled to engage and move a web of a print medium in a forward and backward direction upon stopping a printing operation and allow forward motion during the printing operation.
INKJET PRINT MEDIA CONDITIONER
An inkjet printing system may include an inkjet printing device, a print media finishing device, and a conditioner selectively coupled within a housing of the print media finishing device and in alignment with a print media exit of the inkjet printing device where the conditioner includes a number of heated pressure rollers to condition the print media prior to introduction into the print media finishing device.
