Device for controlling the web tension in a running material web

Device and method for controlling axial forces acting upon a moving web comprises first, second and third rotatable rollers. The third roller is between the first and second rollers and is movable in a circular path in the vertical plane between lower and upper positions in response to axial forces acting at any moment upon the web. To enable a simple manual installation of the web, the upper position of the third roller is at a sufficient vertical distance above the first and second rollers to form an open horizontal passage through which the web can pass freely between the first and second rollers and the above-situated third roller. Axial forces are controlled by biasing the third roller with a force which counters the motion of the third roller in the direction of the upper working position and which is less than the ultimate tensile strength of the web.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MANUFACTURING A DECORATED PACKAGING MATERIAL, AND A PACKAGING MATERIAL

In some embodiments, a method for manufacturing a packaging material includes forwarding a web of said packaging material through a nip provided between an anvil roller and an imprint roller which are arranged against each other, said imprint roller having a surface area including an imprinting area and a non-imprinting area, said imprinting area comprising protrusions forming an imprinting pattern. The method can further include imprinting the imprinting pattern into an outermost layer of said packaging material with said imprinting pattern as said web passes through the nip to form a visual or tactile pattern on the packaging material corresponding to said imprinting pattern. The method can further include adjusting the position of said web when said non-imprinting area of said surface area faces said packaging material The disclosure also relates to an apparatus for manufacturing a packaging material and a packaging material.

GUIDE SYSTEM TO GUIDE PAPER WEBS

Guide system for handling paper material webs comprising: gripping means (1) configured to engage a web (W) of paper material to control its movement according to a predetermined advancement direction (WF); a structure (2) for supporting said gripping means (1); hooking means (4) adapted to temporarily hook a lateral edge (SW) of the web (W), said hooking means being arranged downstream of the gripping means (1) with respect to the aforementioned advancement direction (WF) and configured for temporary hooking the lateral edge (SW) of the web (W) by temporary overlapping a path (PW) followed by the same lateral edge.

Method for transporting a tail end in a fiber web machine from one structural section to another, and also an apparatus and the use of it

An apparatus for transporting a tail end in a fiber web machine from one structural section to another includes nozzles for guiding the tail end on the guide plate by means of an air flow such that the blown air is brought onto a guide plate shaped into a curve in such a way that the air flow of the blown air guides the tail end onto the curved guide plate by means of a bump functioning as an aerodynamic profile formed in the curved guide plate.

PRINTING APPARATUS

A roll sheet in which a continuous sheet is wound in a roll form is caused to rotate in a forward direction to supply the sheet to a printing unit. First and second sensors are arranged at positions facing an outer circumferential surface of the roll sheet and deviated in an axis line direction of the roll sheet. Outputs of the first and second sensors are changed in accordance with a distance to the sheet of the roll sheet. A rotation direction of the roll sheet is switched from a forward direction to a reverse direction on the basis of the outputs of the first and second sensors while the roll sheet is being rotated in the reverse direction.

SHEET SUPPLYING APPARATUS AND PRINTING APPARATUS

It is an object of the present invention to provide a sheet supplying apparatus which is capable of winding the sheet tightly. A sheet supplying apparatus according to the present invention includes a driving unit configured to cause a roll including a wound consecutive sheet to rotate in a first direction for feeding the sheet or a second direction opposite to the first direction, a sensor that detects a leading end portion of the sheet separated from an outer circumferential surface of the roll, and a contact body that presses the outer circumferential surface, in which, before the sheet is fed, in a state in which the contact body presses the outer circumferential surface, the driving unit causes the roll to continuously rotate in the second direction until a detection cycle of the leading end portion by the sensor is smaller than a predetermined value.

FILM WRAPPING MACHINE AND FILM LEADING DEVICE THEREFOR
20240343430 · 2024-10-17 ·

A film wrapping machine has a film leading device having a fixed frame, a shaft, a film-leading component, a torsion spring, a positioning block, and a positioning pin. The shaft is rotatably disposed on the fixed frame; the film-leading component is fixed on the shaft and has a frame body, a film-holding board disposed on the frame body, and a limiting element. The positioning block has a pin groove, and the positioning block and the positioning pin are respectively disposed on the fixed frame and the frame body. When unlocking, the positioning pin is detached from the pin groove, and the torsion spring actuates the film-leading component and the shaft to rotate relative to the fixed frame. When repositioning, the film-leading component is pushed to allow the positioning pin to be reinserted into the pin groove.
