LURES AND SENSORS FOR INSECT TRAPPING

A system includes an acoustic lure and a sensor package disposed within an interior volume of an insect trapping container and a computing device in communication with the acoustic lure and the sensor package configured to instruct the acoustic lure to output an acoustic tone. The computer device is further configured to receive sensor data from the sensor package, the sensor data representative of insects within the interior volume. Responsive to receiving the sensor data, the computing device is configured to instruct an imaging device to capture image data representative of the insects within the interior volume or determine insect count data based on the sensor data. The computing device is configured to then transmit output data to a remote computing system, the output data including at least one of a first portion of the image data or a second portion of the insect count data.

Insect Trap Device and Method of Using

An insect trap device and methods of using the device are described herein. In some embodiments, an insect trap includes a light source, a removable enclosure with at least one opening, an adhesive surface at least partially within the enclosure, and optics to redirect light from the light source onto an adhesive trapping surface. The light source may include at least one light emitting diode (LED). The optics may be attached to the removable enclosure, and may be located at least partially within the enclosure. The optics may include optical enhancers such as a reflector, a lens and/or a diffuser. The insect trap may further include an insect attractant that emits sound or scent.

A window mounted fly trap includes a frame comprising a top surface, a bottom surface disposed on a side of the frame opposite the top surface, and a mount extending from the bottom surface away from the frame. The frame defines an interior and the mount is constructed to detachably mount to a window surface. The trap also includes a cover attached to the top surface of the frame enclosing the interior at the top surface of the frame, the cover comprising an adhesive fly capture surface configured to face the window surface, the frame, cover, and window surface defining therein a fly capture chamber. The trap further includes at least one ingress in the frame for permitting flies to enter the fly capture chamber.

ADHESIVE-TYPE INSECT TRAP

An adhesive-type insect trap includes a main body having an adhesive sheet insertion hole; a light source mounting unit disposed on the main body; a cover which is detachably mounted on the main body and has a through-hole in at least a part thereof; an adhesive sheet including a sticky substance and a sheet. The main body includes a guide unit by which the adhesive sheet is guided, and an adhesive sheet support unit for supporting the adhesive sheet.

To provide a novel, small and thin insect attractor that effectively attracts insects regardless of installation location. An insect attractor having a rear panel, a front panel, and a light emitting unit is provided. The rear panel is attached to an installation surface of a site. The front panel is disposed to face the rear panel. The light emitting unit is disposed between the rear panel and the front panel. The light emitting unit includes a cylindrical portion whose both ends face the rear panel and the front panel, and emits light that attracts insects from an outer surface of the cylindrical portion toward the periphery.

ADHESIVE-TYPE INSECT TRAP

An adhesive-type insect trap includes a body having a hole for insertion of an adhesive sheet; a light source mounting unit disposed on the body; and a cover which is detachably mounted on the body and has a through-hole in at least a part thereof. The body further includes a light source seating unit provided so as to correspond to the light source mounting unit, and a light source may have one side thereof mounted on the light source mounting unit and the other side thereof seated on the light source seating unit.

INSECT TRAP AND METHOD

An insect trap and a method of using the same. The insect trap includes a housing. The insect trap also includes a glue board receiving space located inside the housing. The insect trap further includes one or more light sources for attracting insects into the housing. The insect trap also includes a camera having a lens. The lens has a front element. The camera is positioned to capture images of a glue board when the glue board is received in the glue board receiving space. There is no line of sight between the or each light source and the front element of the lens. This may prevent light from the or each light source reaching the front element directly. The method can include using an image captured by the camera to determine that a glue board received in the glue board receiving space needs to be replaced.

Window fly trap

A fly trap configured to contact a window surface includes a frame and a cover. The frame includes a top surface and a bottom surface. A portion of the bottom surface is configured to contact the window surface, and the frame defines an interior and an ingress for permitting flies to enter the interior from a side of the frame. The cover includes an adhesive fly capture surface configured to face the window surface and attach the cover to the top surface of the frame. The cover enclosing the interior at the top surface of the frame.

FLYING INSECT LIGHT TRAP MONITORING SYSTEM

Our invention combines a disposable dual walls lampshade in a specific arrangement to create a space to accommodate the attracting, killing, holding and disposing of insects on a light device. It separates the catching space from the lighting area for keeping a clean lighting. The disposable dual walls lampshade comprises of an internal wall and an external wall, the two walls sealed in bottom edges and has a small open in the top, it forms a one workable piece. All insects will always be caught inside by applied sticky material or chemical agent, insect dead body is trapped in the space between inside of the external wall and outside of the internal wall. Since the dead insects always kept inside the cavity, there is no directly way to touch dead insect, it is safe for children and pets because the special arrangement of the double walls.
